Show and Tell Tuesday — 10 Comments

  1. Wow, they are so cute. I’m so glad that you shared these cuties. My question is did you knit their mittens for them?

    Clenna,
I will be starting a 6 week Stats class on June 6th. Since its only one class this summer I should be able to handle it. Then I will begin the real semister in late August. I will have 16 credit hours so if I miss a post or two you will know why.

Missouri has been hard hit again, but my family and friends are ok. There are more storms predicted for the next couple of days which is only adding to the misery and pain while making rescue efforts even more difficult. I’m grateful for all the thoughts and prayers for everyone who has been touched by these weather related tragedies this year.

    Today’s Holidays:
5/24 Hug Your Cat Day (We had one on May 12 which was sponsered by Purina this one is sponsered by someone else)
    5/24 National Geographic Bee
5/24 National Escargot Day ( I just cannot do this day, eating snails is not my thing)

  2. OMGosh!! Such sweet faces. Baby animals…so cuddly.. put you in just a good mood so early in the morning.

However, I don’t like cats much. They like my birds too much. This year we have a pair of Grey Cowbirds. The first time ever I have seen one…er…two. Anyway, they make a call that sounds EXACTLY like a baby kitten meowing. I just threw that in there for added interest.

I’ll be back to see what I am celebrating today.

    xx, Carol

  3. Hi there, Kelly!
My heart skips a beat when I hear the news about Missouri! So glad you are ok!
Hug your Cat Day? *Again* a day that fits with my topic, just as yesterday it was Lucky Penny Day. Kind of amazing.

    Hey Carol,
Oh yeah, birds and cats like oil and water. Very interesting about the cowbirds call! Thanks for adding it! πŸ™‚

    Allison,
Oh, I forgot to say their names!
From left to right, Trixie, Hercules, and Xena.
My daughter, reluctantly, is giving them to good homes, as she doesn’t have space for three more pets.

  4. They are sooooo cute!!
Im afraid if hubby wasnt around id become the resident cat lady ,so far we have 3….all were rescues,2 literally from the street as kittens.

  5. I’m not normally a cat person but I’d take one of those – they are adorable.

Oh Kelly – I’m so proud of you and your class work. The ‘net’ has tons of help sites.
I’m so glad you are ok. I cannot believe all the stories about Joplin. Very sad.

  6. So cute and curious. My first question was if she was keeping them, but you answered it already.

  7. Hi Yona! πŸ™‚
She would have loved to, but is happy that she, at least, has had the chance to care for them until they grow old enough to leave their mom.
