Greetings Kids πŸ™‚
It’s been quite the winter here in New England! Thought you might like to see a few photos. (Click them to enlarge.)

The morning view out our back door has frequently been this….

Followed by a LOT of this…..

Snow2 2015

Our daughter lives in the city, where there is less space to pile up the snow, so the street-end of her driveway looked like this!

Snow1a 2015

This year, with a record-breaking 108.6 inches of snow, we’ve never been more aware of Mother Nature’s power . . .

not to mention her breathtaking beauty!!!

It’s Snowing… Again! — 7 Comments

  1. Hi Kids πŸ™‚
Kelly left the following comment a couple of days ago, but I moved it here to the most recent post so more people would see it! xo

  2. Happy Pie Day!!! Hubs and I will be eating a chocolate ice box pie for dessert tonight. Friday, March 20 (the first day of spring) kicks off spring break for our school. It will be nice to have some time off to decorate for Easter. I will be celebrating St. Pat’s Day this week too. Happy Spring, everyone!

  3. OMG!! You are just too darned optimistic. That’s really not the word I wanted to use but the real one flitted out of my mind and I can’t call it back. Only you, after 108 inches of snow, can remember that it can be beautiful. I think I will slit my throat if we get one more snowfall that calls for shoveling!! We used to say that we would have to wait until certain people in our family have passed on before we can move south. Each year our list gets smaller…oh, not because they have passed… That was a little morbid wasn’t it? Oh, well, just goes to show you how sick we are of snow. LOL You need to post more so I can get in a “Crystal” state of mind!!
    xx, Carol

  4. Oh Carol
You are a riot! (I’m just glad I had finished my cup of tea before I read your comment, otherwise it would be all over the screen.) πŸ™‚ xoxo

  5. Oh my gosh…that’s what heaven must look like, Crystal! All that BEAUTIFUL snow!!! You lucky girl. πŸ™‚ We got a bunch too, but you hit the jackpot! You’ll still have snow piles in June! xoxo

  6. Hi Kelly πŸ™‚
Hope you are having a wonderful spring break! It’s probably not yet spring-like enough for the bikes?
That chocolate ice box pie sounds awfully good. Where my daughter works, they also had pie to celebrate the day. Besides that, they had a little contest among the employees to see how many Pi digits a person could recite in exact order from memory. The winner listed 156 of them!!! Amazing!
    xoxo

  7. Actually it is beautiful here right now. We had a very mild winter, but it will be back later on this week. The weather has been crazy. We have been out on the bike a few times and we have a charity ride for the local animal shelter coming up in a few weeks.
I have finished decorating for Easter and Artie and I went to the first dog egg hunt this weekend. If you don’t post before then, Have a Wonderful Easter and I hope your snow is over soon.
