How Does She Do That?

Hiya Kids 😀
Happy Monday!

Just for fun, “Crystal the Goofy Magnificent” will endeavor to amaze and astound you with her uncanny ability to “guess” what you may have been doing over the weekend.

OK, I will need complete silence while I wave my hands over my crystal ball . . . 😉

Ah, let me see…

Carol and her hubby celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Congratulations! 🙂

Clenna was very likely enjoying time with her grandkids.

I’ll bet Kelly and her hubby went for a ride on their bike.

Paulette was watching the Yankees games and I’m guessing she was stitching something gorgeous at the same time.

Don_mae was shopping for books on beading.

Lori was working on a new art technique and making some beautiful new tags.

Cindi might have enjoyed her favorite sandwich, which is peanut butter and strawberry jam.

Carapace was creating something wonderful, for sure.

Allison was helping her daughter (who will soon be a big sister!) get ready for school.

Jane was probably designing a hat for autumn! 🙂

Holly is making lovely necklaces with clusters of colorful beads!!!

Yona collects books – so perhaps she was reading?

Connie loves ice cream and frozen treats like slushies – did she have one of those things over the weekend? I’ll guess “yes”.

Madwoman-doing-cartwheels might have been wearing the July Giveaway earrings that she recently won.

Cheryl may have been knitting, or working on her gingerbread house. 🙂

Michelle loves chocolate, so I’m hoping she had some this weekend!

Jenny spent time on her shady back porch.

AmandaSue is a girl with an eye for fashion. She enjoys dressing up a bit – even for ordinary days. I’ll bet she chose a pretty dress for this weekend.

Roxy might have had friends over to relax on her roof deck.

Ohhh!!!! The crystal ball has clouded over – for now!

If I haven’t mentioned you today, and you’d like to be included next time, just leave a comment to let me know.

By the way, there’s no “crystal ball”. I just know these things because I read and enjoy every single one of your comments. 😀

I almost forgot this week’s question . . .

Would you go on a reality show if given the chance?

If you haven’t seen the August Giveaway, you can find it here. Every time you leave a comment this month, you earn another chance in the drawing!

  1. I don’t watch reality shows because I just don’t like them. I also think alot of the stuff is staged so there is no way I would go on one.

Hubs and I did ride our Harley this weekend. We went to a friend’s pool party that is about an hour away. We took the backroads and it was a beautiful ride.

Since Tuesday is one of the most important Holidays this month, I’m giving everyone a heads up so they can be prepared. It is National S’mores Day. Where would childhood and campouts be without s’mores!!!!

I have also included a recipe that my husband likes, and since he works at a chemical company, there is no way they can have a fire at work.

    S’mores
    2/3 cup of corn syrup
    2 tbs butter
1 pkg chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate)
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    8 cups golden grahams cereal
    3 cups mini marshmellows.

Butter 13×9 pan, heat syrup, butter, and chocolate to boiling, add vanilla. Pour over cereal and fold in mini marshmellows. Let stand till firm at least 1 hr.

  2. O, MC, you are all knowing and all seeing!! Which lottery numbers should I choose this week?

Kelly, you are a fount of National Day/Week info!

Crystal…NO REALITY SHOWS FOR ME until they come here to tape A Day In The Wacky World of Wonder.

This weeks episode. We are deporting the bullfrogs. They are eating Terry’s fish. Bye Bye Cannibals. The highlight will be watching the Bullfrogs out smart us all.

    Have a great day.
    xx, Carol

  3. No reality shows!I dont even watch them ,they just seem to bring out the worst in people.
no chocolote in a while here,im trying to be “good”:)
Hubby went to a charity golf tournament on the weekend so i sneaked in a trip to Michaels to score
a couple of punches and a few new rubber stamps.

  4. heeheehee…..you really are “crystal the magnificent” (and waaaay too cute!!)!!! do you also read palms? mine has a heart on it……’cause i’m sending you big loves today!!! xoxo, :))

  5. Your “Crystal” ball was correct! The first day of school was today, school bus picked her up at 6:30!

I do not think that I could actually go on a reality show, too much of an invasion of privacy for me. Although it is kinda fun to think of what I would do if I were in the contestants’ positions, or to imagine my husband and me on The Amazing Race and the adventures we would have. I am completely addicted to The Biggest Loser, though. It is a guilty pleasure to watch!!!

  6. I sooo love you, Crystal! You were right, I was watching the Yanks and the Sox…and we broke even…YaY!!! Did a little stitching too! …You’re good!

…Reality shows…only if Boston Rob was also going to be a contestant, but no way would I ever eat bugs! … Oh gosh, that means I might have to put on a bathing suit … I don’t think I could do that either! hee hee hee! 😉

Kelly Ann’s recipe looks very yummy!

    xoxo’s Paulette 😀

  7. You are very scary! You can bet that I had a peanut butter and
strawberry jam (this time the jam is homemade)!
I don’t think I would ever choose to go on a reality show.
They don’t interest me, and I like “actuality”, not “reality!”
    Thanks, Cindi

  8. I used to watch Survivor and American Idol when they first started. Not so much anymore. I can’t sing or even snap my fingers, so American Idol is out. Too old for Survivor, though this new season seems tailor made for me, the senior citizen.

So… I guess I would probably pick being on America’s Next Top “Plus Size Senior” Model. Now if only a producer would put something like that on TV. 😀

  9. I LOVE most reality shows – Survivor, Bachelor/Bachelorette and Amazing Race but don’t watch the House Wives of wherever and no Bachelor Pad shows. Would i be on one? Oh heck NO! Too old, too fat and just too lazy. They are a riot to watch however.

You were correct – oh Miss Magnificant – I was spending time with the little ones over the week end. We went on a trip to New Jersey to camp, We set up a couple of tents. We visited a relative that’s in a nursing home each day. Had lots of fun with the kids and even took my Golden with us.

  10. Crystal you were right on! And I looked fashionably cute this weekend haha 😉

I’d most definatly go on a reality show! As long as it doesn’t involve eating any bugs, I’d love to go on Big Brother, or A dating type show, I need to find a prince charming!!

  11. Haha – You’re too funny Crystal! I wish I could be spending more time out on the porch but it’s been soooooo hot (100+ every day – yuck). I mostly just sit and stare out the window wishing it was cooler!
