Autumn Leaves

fallsceneWe had a very blustery kind of rainstorm here, late last week.

On Saturday morning, I was a little dismayed to wake up and find so many of our beautifully colored leaves had been swept away. The trees are looking very bare.

Last year my daughter was able to get some of the most beautiful foliage photos I’ve ever seen. I think you’ll agree that they’re gorgeous – and well worth a second peek!

To see them, click here for my “Ode to Autumn” post! 😀

Ode to Autumn

Here in New England, overnight temperatures are in the 20’s this week.

Now, that’s chilly!

Autumn is my favorite season. On this frosty morning, it occurs to me that time is running out – winter is about to take over.

So before we are immersed in snowflakes and Santas, here’s a little photo tribute to one of the loveliest times of the year.
