Here in New England, overnight temperatures are in the 20’s this week.
Now, that’s chilly!
Autumn is my favorite season. On this frosty morning, it occurs to me that time is running out – winter is about to take over.
So before we are immersed in snowflakes and Santas, here’s a little photo tribute to one of the loveliest times of the year.
Click on the pictures to make them a little larger.
The feet you see belong to my youngest daughter, who was the photographer!
Have you ever seen such a colorful carpet of leaves?
I especially love the one above. See all those little rays of dancing sunlight?
Ahhhhh! Well that was lovely.
Now I’m ready to welcome the majesty of winter!
Lovely Photos!!
I love finding the brightest prettiest little leaves and pressing them!!
Nice picture choices and captions, Mom! I wish I could have that day over again… 🙂
beautiful pictures! It seems like Fall was especially brilliant this year!
wow, lots of pretty leaves!
Yes, they certainly are beautiful. Our colors here were not so great. Lots of browns.
I especially love the Peekaboo With an Autumn Sky!
Thanks for sharing…..Cindi
I love the photo of Falling for Autumn…how it’s kinda crooked and looks like there’s movement – like a river of leaves or something. Beautiful colors.
