It’s early morning . . .
Crystal shuffles out to the kitchen, still half-asleep.
Sir Beads is already there.
He says: “Oh! Did you want that last cinnamon bun?”
She replies: “Huh??? Ummmm . . . no, not really.”
He thinks to himself: “Whew!”
😉 Hugs,
LOL!! At least he did ask, belatedly. Mine just gobbles all the food down. And then asks “what are you eating?” Huh!! I am thinking but never do say, “nothing, you ate it all!!”
😀
Oh Donna,
LOL, LOL, LOL!!! 😀
Ha! So funny.
Laurie is forever eating the last of anything that Ky seems to want in the morning. Boy, you should hear him give it to her!! Its really funny how they go round and round..good naturedly. We spend a lot of time laughing at that guy.
xx, Carol
Oh I’m usually the one to finish off any sweets. I’m addicted to cookies and cakes. (and Cinnamon Buns and Auntie Anne’s Pretzels)
Hi Clenna! 🙂
I do love me a good cinnamon bun now and then, and I have to admit I’m captivated by that glorious “Cinnabon” aroma at the mall!
Hey Carol
You do have a resident comedian, there.
Ky is sure to go far, in whatever he chooses to do, because of that great sense of humor! 🙂
(xx to you, too!)
😀
I have to tell you a little story about a Cinnabon.
Many years ago when I was working (back in the 80’s), one of the Sales Rep’s was so overwhelmed with delight that I helped him close a HUGE DEAL, that he went to the mall and bought me a gift. He came back with ONE Cinnabon. And then he went into the office kitchen and cut it in half. He gave one half to the receptionist for typing his big proposal. He was so proud of us!! He presented my half to me. I was so overcome by his generosity that I tossed it in the trash as he turned to walk away. 😀
Thanks for the smile this morning. The funny thing is, I’m always saving things for hubs. I will eat the last of the salty snacks because they are my favorites, and Scott is a sweet eater. Ice cream seems to be the exception, I cannot keep out it.
I’m loving the cool crisp fall mornings and warm sunny days. I hope everyone is getting the same weather I am.
Yikes, Donna!
What a prince he was! (Not!) 😉
Talk about cheap! I have a low tolerance for people that are stingy. So often it’s a person who has much that he or she could share.
Greetings Kelly
So glad you liked todays’ post! 🙂
You and hubby have a perfect thing going there – with him liking sweet and you preferring salty. ( Ice cream doesn’t count! 😉 )
It’s FINALLY getting a little cooler here after a very muggy and unusually warm September.
LOL!!
I laughed at Donna’s story, too! I have known people like that. It makes you not want to do anything else for them.
I am the sweet eater in my house. My daughter knows to hide her candy from me (but I can usually find it anyway!!)
PS-I just had a cupcake for breakfast. Don’t tell!!
Hi there, Allison! 😀
Your secret is safe with us! LOL
