I’ve found a doozie of a question for this week. π
Are you ready?
Here it is:
If you had to choose between a million bucks, or to be able to fly, what would it be?
I’ll answer in the comments later on today!

Question of the Week — 8 Comments
I’m not a fan of heights, I will do them when I have too, but I don’t go out of my way. I’ll take the million bucks. There is the old saying, “I just want a chance to prove that money cannot buy happiness.” I believe it can, depending on what you do with it, I’m involved in a volunteer organization, and making a difference in people’s lives definately makes me happy.
Clenna, I hope your new job goes very well, and that we will still hear from you when you get the chance.
Today’s celebrations include:
4/11 Eight Track Tape Day – do you remember those?
4/11 International ‘Louie Louie’ Day (provides an annual opportunity to celebrate the song that has been called best party song of all time, has been recorded more times than any other rock song in history, and was very nearly declared the official state song of Washington State)
4/11 National Cheese Fondue Day
Give me the money!!!
Now if you asked if I could go into outer space on the shuttle – man that would be a hard decision but I’d finally choose the money – I can help family with money!
Thanks Kelly for thinking of me. I’m out the door any minute now.
Good Morning!
Clenna, what will you be doing at your new job? Good Luck. Its always so hard starting a new endeavor. Sometimes I think it’s why I keep the job I have. But everytime I think about leaving, I remember that I don’t want to claw my way back up the hourly pay scale.
Well sorry Crissie, but I choose to be a millionaire!! Then I can buy a plane and fly whenever I want!! Hands down a millionaire that sponsers a Pet Refuge…state of the art. A dream come true.
What day to celebrate? Well Louie Louie of course!! Did you know the group that recorded it are from South Bend and up til a few years ago they still played at local pubs?
You all have a great day!!
“We gotta go now!!”
I would take the million dollars & invest it for my kids and for our retirement.
I do not like heights or wind (I suspect flying would be very windy), so flying would not be for me!
Clenna, good luck on your new job! I am working at another horse show at the end of the week, so I will join the “working class”, too. π
Easy!! Give me the million dollars. I will buy my own plane and fly wherever and whenever I wish. LOL!!
OK… who in this group has a million bucks to give me? π
Hi Kids!
I’d take the cash. π
*****
Sorry Donna (don_mae)! I would have to take the cash before I’d have enough to give you a million. lol.
******
Clenna, I’m not the least bit surprised that you would be tempted by the space flight since you’re a science teacher. π
*******
Allison, I can imagine how happy you must be to have the chance to return to working with horses! I know how much you love them. π

Hi there, Kelly – Great Days!
*Luckily*, I have no 8-track tapes (just from a storage standpoint!) but I do have lots of VHS videos that we can’t seem to part with. I think they are the 8-track tapes of today! lol
*******
Carol, I know that for a long time, it’s been your dream to sponsor a pet refuge. Who knows? It could happen some day. π And interesting that the Louie, Louie group still played in South Bend up until recently! You are too funny with your, βWe gotta go now!!β π
**********
Michelle, I thought of you over the weekend! I was at Michael’s and got some great craft supplies – all on sale! π
I think a million bucks would mean i could help out family members, flying???Not so much π
Carol, that was one of my favorite songs when I was in college. Back in the 60’s. Wasn’t there some controversy about the lyrics? (I could be confusing it with another song.)
