Last week, when I posted about new magnets I received, Carol had a great idea!
She suggested it would be fun to see everyone’s refrigerator! 😀
Today, we have photos from Carol and Kelly and I’ll post mine again – but with a description this time.
First, we have Carol’s!
Carol says: “The center pic of dogs are my most special friends ever that have been gone more than 10 years now..Dino and Fuzz. Then there are a couple of pics when Corey played football in 5th and 6th grade. You have your information center with the dates recycling will be picked up, the poison center number, vet’s number. The Grandmother Poem magnet the boys gave me along with the Queen of Hearts and some bee ones (cause I like bees) and pigs too. The big green picture is one my great neice made for Terry because ALL kids love him and think he is a Grandpa. I got some on the side, too!”
Next, here’s mine.
For the most part, I have family pictures – my daughters, especially. The group shots are from celebrations with both sides of our family. The photo in the center bottom is Sir Beads’ brother and his dear family. (I’d like to have a similar one from his other brother (hint, hint!) There’s a copy of the Serenity Prayer, which I think just about says it all on how to live your life. I like to collect magnets and the little “lucky stars” were made by a sweet friend. Finally, I have a couple of favorite recipes right there on the fridge for easy access.
Last, but never least, we have Kelly, who puts Carol and I to shame with her nicely organized display! 😀 Isn’t it pretty?
Kelly says: “I’m attaching a photo of our frig decorated for Easter. I decorate the frig for all holidays including St. Pats Day.”
So, who will be next? C’mon, we want to see yours, too!
If you are worried about cropping or sizing, I can do that for you.
Send your photo(s) to: crystal (at) beadhappilyeverafter(dot) com
Hugs,
Thank you for the kind words about my frig, but I guarantee that if I had kids their artwork and pictures would be all over it. I love all the photos and artwork on each on of your refrigerators. My everyday frig is filled with dog stuff. I will have to get you a photo of that one of these days.
Today’s celebrations include,
3/29 National Mom & Pop Business Owner’s Day
3/29 National Lemon Chiffon Cake Day
Good Day!!
Don’t you wonder what the way we decorate our refrigerators says about us. I never thought of using the refrigerator as a place to decorate for the holidays. Great idea Kelly.
I LIKE this show and tell!
xx, Carol
Carol, I think you are right! It must be saying something about us – it’s a little like a giant handwriting sample! lol
Kelly, I, too, never thought of decorating for the holidays on the fridge. But what a perfect place it is for that – like a blank canvas just waiting to be embellished! 🙂
What a great idea, Kelly!! Decorating the fridge for the holidays. I like all of them.
My fridge is always a mess but it does reveal a lot about me – very busy – grand kids and my dog. I’ll send a pix soon.
Kelly -wow – so neat. Puts mine to shame.
My family needs your prayers please, updates on my blog http://fibrocraft.blogspot.com/
Michelle,
I left a comment on your blog. Take Care,
Kelly
I left a comment for Michelle as well. Thinking of her and her family.
I love Kelly’s idea!! A great and easy way to decorate for the holidays!
