Happy Wednesday, Kids!!!
Itβs been almost a month since the holiday festivities, and I donβt know about you, but Iβm ready for a little retail therapy. π
Yep, you guessed it – we’re going shopping!!!!
The bus is all warmed-up, the snacks are packed, and guess who’s driving?
Sir Beads has volunteered!!! π
He says he’ll make as many stops as we like, and he doesn’t care what time we get back.
So, is everyone here? Well then, All Aboard.
First stop – etsy. . . .
Isn’t this fabulous? Can you believe it’s made with recycled t-shirts? So very chic and the silver pin is the perfect finishing touch. From modernshadesofgrey
Oh my goodness! I am a crocheter but this little fella is tiny! It must take incredible talent and patience to create him. Talk about a miniature work of art! From pasubio9
These very cool beads are made from a vintage book entitled “Un tribut a la race acadienne” written in 1928 by a Montreal Canadian. Each bead has the beautiful patina of vintage paper. They’d be wonderful mixed with some silver beads in a chunky-style bracelet! How fun to create art and save the earth – all at the same time! From 42things
Talk about adorable! These tiny “ballet slippers” are crocheted using 100% organic un-dyed cotton yarn. Available in 4 sizes: Preemie-Newborn up to 9 months. Treat a little ballerina you know! From JennOzkan
One look at this miniature (6-inch!) cake and I’m feeling hungry. Beautifully created from felt, this playful Chocolate Icing Tea Party Cake has 4 segments – decorated with lots of Strawberries, Wafer Sticks and Creams. Great item for those afternoon tea parties – and no calories! π From onenonly88
Oh-oh! We’ve been gone for hours. I suppose we should think about heading back to the bus. Did anyone remember to pick up a sandwich for Sir Beads? He’s probably starving by now. Ah, no worries! I see he has a half empty pizza box there, near the driver’s seat. π
Hope you had fun! I know I had a ball spending time with all of you!
Be sure to visit the shops of the amazing etsy artists featured here today.
Hugs,
Good Morning!!
Wow! Those tiny crochets are ….well..I have no words! I crochet, but I don’t think I could stitch that tight. And she sure has an amazing array of patterns!
The cowl was cool but I gotta tell you, the second thing I noticed is how tiny the models waist was.
I love our shopping expeditions.
Oh, I see Sir Beads kept our secret…oops…no secret any longer. I snuck him a breakfast pizza.
You all have a great day!
xx, Carol
Wow! thank you so much.
That teeny tiny turtle, oh my, toooooooooooooo sweet!
Love, love that teeny tiny turtle.
Thank you for taking me shopping with you.
I went shopping last week, Saturday, for boys snow pants size 12 and 14 and a pair for the Princess – size 3. Finally found all three. Then size 14 broke his collar bone and no more playing in the snow this winter. Then size 3 took hers home and I decided I needed another pair for here. So I went back out Monday and found another pair for her.
Oh and I only spent $28! Then the second pair of size 3 snowpants cost me $3
I was “thrifting” – so much fun.
Hi Crystal, I wanted to stop by and thank you for including my booties in your post today! Thank you π
Hey Carol,
Pizza? How did you know? lol π
Hi Clenna!
If there were a medal for being a smart shopper – you would get it, without a doubt! π
Jo, It was my pleasure. Welcome to my blog! π
Jenn,You are so welcome! Please stop by again. We’re all friendly, here. π
I loved this shopping trip, there are so many talented crafters on Etsy, and it is simply amazing. The turtle is adorable, but that scarf is my favorite, it would be great to dress up this drab winter weather. Thanks for the shopping trip, I truly enjoyed my day out with all of you.
I LOVE your little bus graphic! That tiny turtle is really cute π
You are so good with your gif’s. Adding your sign on the side of that bus is such a cute touch.
I LOVE that cowl made from tee shirts. I have tons of tee shirts not being worn.
Thanks for taking us on your shopping trip. Great finds.
Love the banner on the side of the bus, and Sir Beads is really good at making those wide turns…I’m always amazed at how the drivers are able to do that! What a fun trip, filled with the most delightful goodies! There are so many talented people out there!!!
xoxo Paulette
