Mopsy and Me

Last week, as I was tidying up my work table, I had a decision to make . . . Should I just put everything away?

There were supplies and extra fabric for an item I made at Easter.

Remember โ€œPamela Cottontailโ€?

Even though, I had cut out enough pieces for two bunnies, here it was weeks later and I still hadn’t gotten around to making the second one – time flies!

As I held the pattern pieces in my hands, I decided it would be easier to go ahead and make a second one while the supplies were still out. If I put them away, it would be harder to gather them in the future.

So, I began with every intention of creating a “brother” (Peter!) for Little Pamela. There was just one problem. The second bunny wasn’t looking much like a boy by the time I was finished. Her vest was too fancy!

What to do? Well, I figured Pamela could use a sister, too, so I made her a girly hat, and named her “Mopsy”! ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, Kids, after I went on and on yesterday about comments, Carapace said there should be a way to “subscribe” to comments! And of course she was right!

So, I put on my thinking cap, and now you’ll find a new button in the sidebar to click on – if you’d like to subscribe to the comments, here. (As always, the orange button is for subscribing to the blog posts)

May your weekend be fun and relaxing . . .

all at the same time! ๐Ÿ˜€

Hugs for all,

  4. Thank you Carol, Kym, Kelly, and Holly! ๐Ÿ˜€

The little bunny (5″ tall, including ears) looks fairly uncomplicated… but to sew her is what I always call “fussy work”.

By that I mean, it’s tiny little pieces and tiny hand stitches. When I was beading the vest for Mopsy, Sir Beads chuckled and said: “You are making more work for yourself with those little beads, you know!”

Bless him. He’s a darling, but he simply doesn’t understand that girls just wanna have fun! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. Aw spamgirl, ๐Ÿ™‚

You give me too much credit!

    I’m not *always* thinking…

but I only write about the times that I think ๐Ÿ˜‰ lol

    Hugs,

    Crystal

  6. What cute bunnies. I wish i could create things.
We went to the beach – Hampton- today. Very windy but we had lots of fun. Nothing like having an ice cream at the beach. It was a beautiful day.

    Have a good week end.
I’ll be going to watch some Lacrosse games.

  7. Thanks, Clenna!
Would you believe it was a freezing January night, the last time we went to Hampton beach?

Some of our family, from the midwest, were visiting and they wanted to see the “ocean”.

It was fun but very COOOOLD!

    Enjoy the games ๐Ÿ™‚
