As often as possible . . . I do try to be a “good wife”. 😉
But you’ll laugh when I tell you the predicament into which I unknowingly put Sir Beads yesterday!
As he was leaving for work in the morning, I asked him if he would mind grabbing a few items from the grocery store on his way home. He said “No problem.” So, I dashed off a little list of the things we needed and he quickly stuffed it into his shirt pocket as he headed out the door.
When he came home last night, he told me that he had made a funny discovery during the workday. At one point, he glanced down at his shirt and it seems that part of the “list” had worked its way out of his pocket! This is what was showing to any and all he may have encountered in the course of business:
I was blushing and laughing at the same time as we wondered what people must have thought when they saw that! LOL
Here’s the list – unfolded.
Next time, maybe I should just email him . . . but I suppose that would mean less excitement for the co-workers!
What would someone think? That he is loved, of course!!! Or maybe they thought he had a girlfriend..cause thats how minds work!
xx, Carol
PS Who woke the d**n ground hog up!!
What a funny story!! If I had given my husband a grocery list at the beginning of the day, it would have been long forgotten by the end of the day! He would forget his head if it wasn’t screwed on.
But he has other qualities that make him wonderful; I just have to be the one to remember things!
Oh that is so sweet! I do that to, when hubby goes away for work I pack a little surprise in his bag and he usually doesn’t find it for a week! but I am sure he gets a chuckle when he does!
Aw, I think that’s adorable! At least they know he has a good woman at home 😉
Thats nice! Bet you made some smiles ….always a good thing:)
too cute! Reminds me of when my mom would leave me notes in my lunchbox when I was in grade school 😉
It could have been worse! At least tampons wasn’t the one word on the list that was sticking out of his pocket! 😉
Oh gosh Crystal, you’re so funny, and I’m sure Sir Beads looked very cute with that little note and smiley face peeking out of his pocket at work. I know I would have giggled (in a sweet way) if I happened to see it! As soon I read your note I thought, oh no…then I read Melissa’s comment and she wrote just what I was thinking. Frank hates when THAT’S on the list! Hugs, Paulette 😉
