Things Are Hopping . . .

Things are hopping here, lately. You all know how that is. One week everything goes according to plan, and then suddenly a renegade week (or month) pops up and we’re rushing like crazy to complete all we have to do before bedtime!

So, today I have an older post to show you. It’s in keeping with the Easter traditions we talked about on Monday.

I think you’ll like this little tale of how my girls and I once tackled a new (to us!) Easter tradition. You can read it by clicking here.

Hugs,

  1. Yes, you are right Crissie. I start the day with plenty of energy and think about what I’ll get done when I get home from work. Then my 40 hours zaps my energy and I’m lucky to feed the crew hot dogs on paper plates before I lay down to take just a little nap that turns into 2 hours.

Glad to hear its not just me.

  2. LOVED the eggs, so pretty & artistic. What wonderful keepsakes.

I agree with some weeks being crazier than others, it happens in our house too. Sometimes it seems like I don’t ever sit down to take a break—-unless I am feeding the baby, and that doesn’t really count!
Annelise is home today with a sinus infection—we spent the morning at the pediatrician. šŸ™ Not serious, though, she will be back at school tomorrow. Good thing too, since I am working at a horse show for the rest of the week!

  3. I start each day with a rough idea of what i want to get done but something always takes longer than it should or something new pops up.
My sister is doing ok except for some tummy troubles, she should be in hospital at least 10 days.Im recovering from lyrica withdrawl, wow that drug is wicked to come off of.

  4. This week has me totally off schedule. I was tired from working the election yesterday and went to bed early, I’m not used to getting up at 4:14 am. I worked this morning, and afternoon at the college.
I do have things that I cannot bear to part with because either my mom, aunt, or grandmother gave them to me. Since all 3 are gone now, I have precious memories of our holidays together and the gifts they gave me. Right now there are stuffed bunnies and other decorations that make Easter special for me.

    Todays celebrations include:
4/6 Plan Your Epitaph Day – a little morbid if you ask me
4/6 *New Beers Eve (75th anniversary of the return of beer on April 7, 1933, as the Prohibition era was drawing to a close.)
4/6 Tartan Day (Honoring those of Scottish descent who played a vibrant and influential role in the development of the United States.)
4/6 April 6: National Caramel Popcorn Day (the caramel lovers are on a roll since yesterday was Nat’l Caramel day)
