Apples are one of those perfect foods . . .
They’re delicious, they’re good for you; and they smell wonderful while cooking!
I came across this quick and easy recipe for an apple dessert and thought you might enjoy it. ๐
SWEDISH APPLE PIE
Fill a greased deep dish pie plate 2/3 full with sliced apples (about 5 apples needed)
Sprinkle with:
1 teaspoon sugar & 1 teaspoon cinnamon (mixed)Combine:
3/4 cup melted margarine
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nutsPour over apples and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until top is browned.
I‘ll add my two cents to the recipe . . .
*Serve warm.
*And a small dollop of real whipped cream or vanilla ice cream couldn’t hurt! ๐
Hugs,
Hi Crissie
Sounds goooood!

to find a no-measure, few ingredient cookie recipe.
Have a great day (50 degrees here) day.

Wow This sounds yummy. I’m going to my son’s in March – I’m taking this recipe with me!
Thanks
What kind of apples do you recommend?
Hi Clenna, ๐
I like to use Golden Delicious apples for baking but Cortland apples work well, too.
Thanks sweetie.
This looks so good and easy too. I need to take this when I go over to my dad’s house because he loves any apple dessert. I hope everyone is getting a break in the weather like we are, today it is 73 degrees with sunshine and a warm breeze. I love it.
Hey there, Carol!
Thanks for the cookie link! Love her needlework. too!!! ๐
Hi Kelly,
73 degrees? Amazing! I’ll bet the dogs are thrilled!
It’s 54 here today. More snow is predicted for the late weekend though.
umm! Sounds yummy to me! Thanks for another great recipe, Crystal! xoxo Paulette
