Show and Tell Tuesday

Welcome to another edition of Show and Tell Tuesday!

We haven’t had any reader photos for a while, so I was excited to receive this note from Kelly the other day. 😀

Hi Crystal,
“I thought since I was always talking about my dogs and what I’m doing with them, that maybe you would like to showcase them on the blog on a Tuesday. Its fun to see all the pets. …. They are both real sweethearts… ”

  1. Thanks for adding the borders, Crystal they look great. Milele is 11 and she is dog aggressive that is why I don’t do events with her. She loves all people though. Kouga is 5 and he is our clown. Last week after his bath we went to pick up his winnings. I bought raffle tickets in December that benefitted a rescue group and he won a year supply of DingoRoos puppy treats. He will be donating some of them and sharing with his sister too.
I would love to see everyone else’s pets too. Thanks again!

  2. Kelly’s dogs are beautiful. I can never get my dogs to look toward me to get a good pic. They see the camera and lay right down. Camera shy.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. Kelly, they are so pretty. I have heard that Malamutes are really smart, too. What sort of events do you do? I have some friends that are really into agility; one has corgis and the other one trains rescues. They keep trying to get me to get my daughter into it with one of the bassets. (Before everyone busts a gut thinking about a basset doing agility, this particular basset is very atypical of the breed: high energy
& can jump on anything, although I am not sure how trainable he would be! He usually just does his own thing)
    Thanks for sharing them!

  4. Hi Allison,
Kouga loves to do the dog events that include walking for a good cause and any costume contests. He loves the dog egg hunts that are becoming huge in this area. Last year we did 4 of them. He can pick up the plastic eggs and get the treats out of them without breaking the eggs. He has even picked a few winning eggs for gift cards and other goodies. Next month there is a puppy love event with contests such as the paw walk, peanut butter on the spoon and the sexy buns contest. The Mystic Krewe of Barkus parade is always well attended and it is amazing how many dogs and owners show up.

  5. I LOVE dogs and these pictures make me smile! I love how the dogs look like they are smiling and have expressions on their faces.

  6. Kouga and Milele are real beauties! What cute pictures, Kelly!

    xoxo Paulette 🙂
