Ready now?

Happy Birthday, Dear Donna . . .

Haaaapy Birrrthday tooo youuuuu!!!

Congratulations Donna! (don_mae) πŸ˜€

I’m going to guess your birthday has actually fallen on Thanksgiving Day multiple times over the years. Tell us about that…… please? Is it a good day for a birthday, or did you feel you were sharing the spotlight with the holiday (as Christmas babies often do)?

By the way, did you know if you blow out a virtual candle on a virtual cupcake, your wish will come true?!?! Yep! πŸ™‚

Enjoy your day, Donna!

I’d love to celebrate all the birthdays here on the blog. Sadly, I lost my b-day list when the computer went down. If you sent your date before, or would like to add it for the first time now, please email me at this address:

and Thank You, sis, for letting us know its Donna’s Day!! Would that be D-Day not to be confused with T-Day!!

  2. OMG!! For real!! LOL!!

Oh Crystal… you sure do know how to make a person feel special.

    Yep, today is my birthday.

I always say I am a “turkey baby” since my mom said I was born on Thanksgiving. And about every 4 years it lands on Thanksgiving. My birthday wishes usually come true even when I have to share it with a holiday turkey.

Lately though, I have tried to dial down the celebrations and the cost involved. Trying to keep it simple. Nothing fancy. I got two Ott-Lites from hubby. (I picked them out at JoAnn’s.) Plus I received two gift certificates to craft stores. Can always use those. And a few checks from family. (Always, always nice)

I do enjoy the birthday dinner and the Thanksgiving dinner. When they fall on the same day, there’s always a special cake just for me.

Thanks again for my birthday post. You are a sweetheart!!

  3. Happy Birthday Donna! Hope you have a lovely day! And hopefully Crystal’s singing didn’t scare you away haha! πŸ™‚

  4. Happy Happy Birthday. What kind of special cake do you like? Wishing you the best on your special day.

  5. Thank you, everyone, for my birthday greetings.

Kelly, I am not sure how it got started or even when but cakes purchased for me or baked for me are usually half and half. Chocolate on one side and vanilla on the other. And I didn’t even ask for this. It makes it nice though, to have a choice.

    I had a great birthday.

    Thanks again, Crystal!!

  6. Happy Birthday Donna!
It’s great that you enjoy sharing your day with Thanksgiving.
And I hope I NEVER get a GC to a craft store. I wouldn’t have any idea what to get with it.
