Fall is in the Air

Here in New England, the last couple of days have been just “drismal” – a word our weather guy loves to use. 😉

You know what he means though. It’s damp and dreary with constant light drizzle. Last night, we actually needed a blanket for the first time in weeks. Fall is definitely in the air, Kids!

Today’s post features some positive things to think about as summer winds down and autumn approaches . . .

Fall is in the Air — 7 Comments

  1. Well, those are certainly resolutions to LIVE by.

I got to thinking about that spend time with someone over 70 one.

I remember when I was YOUNG a commericial came on for make-up. It was designed for women over 26. I was going to be in that bracket soon and I must have made a big deal about it because Terry still talks about it.

Now, over 70, 11 years away for me. How time flies.
    Heres to a sunny day!!

  2. It’s been in the 80’s here in TN – New England needed the rain but I don’t know about dismal – ugh.

DIL (daughter-in-law) and I are headed out shopping today – yea.

  3. ooooh, there’s nothing better than blanket season!!! woo hoo!! that’s definitely a positive thought (especially since we’re still in 90 degree weather here…..ugh.) to keep in my mind today! and i love the other thoughts on your list, too…..here’s my favorite: Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good. SO true!!! hope you have a fabulous blankety kind of day today, sweetie pie!! xox

  4. Hi Sweetie!

    xoxo Paulette

  5. I like Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
It is amazing how much better I feel when I’m around positive people. I try to be positive and look at the bright side.

I also like the 3 E’s. I have been ramping up Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy, especially enthusiasm since I have started classes.

I hope your weather is better soon we are in the beautiful 80’s today after suffering weeks of 98+ weather.

  6. Autumn is my favorite time of year!
My favorite is ~ “Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.”

  7. I love your Autumn resolutions. I always feel the need to live more purposefully at this time of year (if that makes sense…) and this list fits well with that! I’m looking forward to the cooler weather, but I think we’re probably in store for a few more days with triple digit temperatures.
