Please forgive me if my recent posts have been heavy on the family stuff. I have just one more to finish the week. I’m guessing you’ll let me off the hook because today is my daughter’s birthday! 🙂
The song, “Sunrise Sunset”, from “Fiddler on the Roof” has the kind of lyrics that tug at the ole heartstrings of a parent. That tune was playing in my head as I looked at photos of her earliest celebrations. I don’t think she’ll mind if I mention she’s “thirty-something” today. 😉
Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
I don’t remember growing older
When did they?
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he grow to be so tall?
Wasn’t it yesterday
When they were small?
(Gosh, do those lyrics ever ring true!!!)
We love you a million trillion!
Mom & Dad
Happy Birthday to your daughter. I hope it is a happy one.
Happy Birthday!!! Oh such wonderful photos, my baby is only 14 months and I look back at photos now and then – wow she has grown so much! Your daughter looks like she had some wonderful parties and beautiful moments I am sure she treasures just as much as you.

I’m joining Carol! I want to be an “Auntie” too! Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter, Sweetie! What a touching post, and I loved all those cute party themes! It’s just like you to make it all so special! She was such a little doll! My son’s birthday was last Friday. They’re just a week apart!
Auntie Paulette (thanks Carol, for letting me jump on your band wagon!)
Wow, your daughter really is gorgeous! Must run in the family. And she’s about my age, though my own mom says I’m not allowed to be 30 yet, and have to wait at least another ten birthdays to change my cake.;) So happy birthday to her, and congratulations to you both!
Happy Birthday to your daughter.
Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures.
