It’s been raining like crazy here for several days. When I looked out the window this morning, I thought I saw a man in a boat with pairs of animals!!! 😉
Do you have “spring fever” yet? Our daffodils haven’t bloomed, but they’re making good progress. I must admit that I love the spring flowers best – all the gorgeous violets, daffodils, forsythia, iris, lilacs . . .
So in honor of the season, which arrives on Saturday, here’s this week’s giveaway!
These pretty earrings are made with Vintage Swarovski “drops”, which have been prong-set with Rose Pink Swarovski crystals. I’ve used coordinating Swarovski bicones in three sizes as accents. For pierced ears, they measure a very showy 2-1/4” in length – including the 14K gold-filled earwires.
Contest Rules and How To Enter
Any day you leave a comment on this blog – it is counted as a chance to enter that week’s giveaway.
For example, if you answer today’s question (you’ll find it below!) that will give you one chance.
But if you then come back another day this week and comment on a different post – you will have earned another chance in this week’s giveaway!
When you comment you do not have to mention that it’s an entry in the giveaway. My blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them, and all will count and be entered into the drawing! 😀
Today’s question is:
You can only have one kind of sandwich, but every sandwich ingredient on earth is available to you. Please describe the sandwich you will make! 😀

Well, I am not a big sandwich person. I do love to go to Culvers for a Mushroom & Swiss burger. And I like to make toasted melted ham, mozzerella and mushroom subs at home or Monte Cristo sandwiches, O O O I forgot, I love Chic-fil-et. Thats about it. I am more of a salad kind a girl.
We are getting that water falling from the sky stuff too. The good news is that it refilled the frog pond.
Have a great day, rain and all!
Carol
Oh my sammiches, make mine pan fried chicken livers on toasted bread. 😀 yummy
Grilled cheese! Nothing fancy. But if I can have tater tots with it… then I’m a happy girl!
Wow- those earrings pretty much exactly match the dress I just bought yesterday!
If I could have any sandwich, I’d make this one:
Ham
Parmesan (or other salty cheese)
Lettuce
Pears with a little bit of sugar
All on Ciabatta with a little bit of balsamic vinegar on it.
The flavors complement each other so well!
oooh, oooh, and double OOOH!!! Those spring sparklers are just soooo pretty, Crystal! I love them! I can just imagine how they’d shine in the sun! 😉
I’m pretty simple… cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on a crusty sesame seeded, loaf of good bread! Yum! OR, and I hesitate to write this because it sounds so odd, but it’s sooo delicious. Again you start with the best loaf of bread, then add some cream cheese, and then a few slices of warm, breaded and fried eggplant, salt and pepper…I’m talking heavenly here! Oh gosh, I’m starving now! Time for some breakfast! Have a fun day, Sweetie!
xoxo’s
Paulette
Enter me please! Beautiful earrings!
Crystal says: Thank you, Ana, but we all want to hear about the sandwich you’d make!
I think it would be a bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich. Boring but super delicious!
I would make a sandwich from a rosemary flat bread. I would pile it high with turkey, provolone, bacon, lettuce, and rosemary mayo!!! yum! xo
I will make a tuna sandwich with avocado, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and a pickle on the side!
I’d make a grilled portabello mushroom sandwich with swiss cheese. Yummmmmmmmmmm!
ooh crust french bread filled with veggies that have been grilled and drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
love the pretty in pink earrings:)
I would pick a vegetarian sandwich with whole wheat bread, avacado, tomatoe, cheese, lettuce, cucumber.sprouts….Beautiful giveaway.
Fingers crossed. Marian
Since I’m not a big sandwich person, I’ve created a sandwich of sorts.
It would begin with a big chocolate chip cookie, then a layer of ice cream, then a small dabble of chocolate fudge, next a Girl Scout chocolate mint cookie, then another layer of ice cream, then a dabble of caramel sauce, then to top it off another chocolate cookie. OMG I would be in heaven.
Turkey breast with cranberry spread on whole grain bread.
I love sandwiches…. I would have to say that a nice dark grain bread with smoked turkey, coleslaw, cucumbers, either pepper jack or a sharp cheddar cheese, and thousand island dressing on the side to dip in to. It is essentially a turkey sloppy joe. Oh so yummy! Now I’m drooling.
these are really pretty and would go with alot of stuff i have! alot of dresses! please pick me! im a follower !!
Crystal says:
Hi Melissa,
Thank you for following. 🙂
We’d all LOVE to hear about the sandwich you’d make.
P.S. The winner is always decided in a random drawing – that’s the only fair way!
Ha ha, you thought you had me right? Wrong! I’d make myself a club sandwich and start with vegetarian (salad, cheese, tomato, avocado and mayo), then some meat (bacon for sure, some white meat (poultry) for good conscience, more cheese and salad), then some peanut butter and jelly and finish with cheese and marmelade. Gross?
I love sandwiches!
My following sandwich would be: Toasted Wheat Bread, sun dried tomatoes, a dab of pesto sauce, spinach, red pepper, and provolone cheese!
I’ll have some lettuce, radish slices and tomatoes with bacon and whole grain bread… so tasty.
I would make my favorite sandwich: fried egg, lettuce, tomato, bacon, pickles, and cheese.
I love sandwiches so this is an easy one. It would be a club sandwich w/ honey-roasted turkey, black forest ham, bacon, swiss cheese, Zatarain’s Creole Mustard, romaine lettuce, on slightly toasted marble rye bread. OMG, I’m hungry just thinking about it.
wow beautiful giveaways!!
I love sandwich, i have chicken spread with mayo top with lettuce and tomato, and cucumber.. yummy!! ops with cheese too 🙂
One word
Nutella!!
One sandwich I can’t find anywhere else but by the Chesapeake Bay is a GOOD crab cake sandwich. I’ve tried them from here to there & everywhere, but I can only get the big pieces of crab meat & little to no breading when I go back “home”!
Beautiful earring!!! thanks for the chance to win!
My sandwich would have mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, turkey and slices of bacon in a toasted bun!
juli
I am a vegetarian, so my choice of sandwiches can be unique!
A peanut butter and strawberry jam would be my choice…..
Thanks, Cindi
Liverwurst and American cheese on white, anyone? 😉
PS: I don’t need to be entered, Momma — just felt like chiming in on our sandwich! 😉 Would hate anyone to accuse you of nepotism!
Crystal says:
That’s right, Melissa! You are not eligible!!! 😉
But if you’d like to buy anything, I will gladly give you a 2% discount!!! LOL 😉
I love this question because I love food! I would use whole wheat honey oat bread, add a couple slices of swiss cheese, toast it, throw in some romaine lettuce, tomato slices, green pepper, cucumber, black olives… and that sounds good to me! Now I’m hungry 🙂
Thank you for this opportunity!
Plain old ham and cheese on wonderbread with a tiny bit of mayo. Preferably squished just a little bit, like it was at the bottom of a lunch bag.
I don’t like fancy sandwiches and especially not those fat sandwiches where you take a bite one end and half the filling escapes out the other side.
A couple of slices of turkey ham on a 5 grain bread spread with mayonnaise plus a few thin slices of cucumber sprinkled with salt.
To be honest my abiding love for this sandwich is the main reason I need to diet!
i’m very simple when it comes to sandwiches so i would love to have a lettuce, tomato, black olives, swiss cheese and red onion sandwich! i’m veggie so no meat for me. 🙂
hmm. there’d be barbeque sauce on it. that’s for sure. maybe grilled chicken? ooo – definitely grilled onions too!
Peaunut butter and A LOT of bananas pleasssee
I would have a turkey, ham, pepperoni sandwich with provalone on white french bread, toasted please!
I would make an avocado chicken sandwich.. I’ve never tried it at home before, but it was my favorite I’ve ever had at a sandwich shop.
Must have ketchup and mayonnaise in it:) And chicken, red pepper, pickle. mmm, delicious:D
Heh, I don’t do standard bread, you know? And I am an aggressive hedonist in my food. So, here we go!
Toasted cheese bread, made with cream cheese, provolove, mozzarella and romano, and lots of basil and pepper,
real mayonnaise, the homemade stuff,
hard salami
smoked ham
chopped roasted herbalicious chicken
butter-sauteed red peppers, mushrooms and onions
pesto
allll under another layer of melty gooey mozzarella and swiss.
I can’t have it right now, of course, but you know, I think I can get halfway there…why am I sittin’ here sandwhichless, when there’s yummies in the fridge?!?:D
I never tire of peanut butter and strawberry preserves.
I would have grilled ham and cheese on white! Pretty boring, but I would never get tired of it!
Nothing too fancy for me 🙂 I’d probably just put ham and cheese on it and then grill it (and eat it with lots of tomato sauce!)
My favourite sandwich is toasted
white bread with a fried egg and
bacon. Yum! Yum!
i’m always gonna go with my childhood favorite. Peanut Butter and grape Jelly!
turkey roast beef cheddar cheese sourdough pickles olives and mustard!
The earrings are so pretty.
I like a good sandwich made with lots of mayo, bacon, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and sprouts.
Sourdough bread, mayo (well miracle whip), dill harvati cheese, tuna, pickles, tomato, lettuce, and maybe a bit of onion. simple but good 🙂
I would start with some of Panera’s thin-slice whole grain bread. Slather on some sun-dried tomato ale mustard, some avocado, peppadew peppers, lettuce and tomato. If you want a little extra protein, throw on some salmon as well. Lie back, take a bite, and gargle like homer from the deliciousness.
I’m a simple sandwhich person! I would use marraqueta bread, mayo, american kosher salami and sour pickles!
Either that or tuna, mayo, onion, sour pickles, tomatoe and of course, marraqueta bread.
I’ll spread mango jam that I personally made for my sandwhich.
Last nights dinner… imitation crab with tomatoes yum yum 🙂 a bit of mayo.
I would make a sandwich with truffles!! And put some delicious chocolate on it!!!
