Hearts and Flowers

I‘m having such fun with these flowers! Here is the “bright pink” one I mentioned yesterday (It looks coral on my screen – but it’s pink!).

You can see in the photo below that the pink one is a smaller size. Eventually, I want to make several sizes, using different types of fabrics. ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybe it’s the shorter hours of daylight but, lately, I just want to curl up with a quick project after dinner. Here’s my whimsical little crocheted posy!

And finally, I finished a few crocheted hearts. It’s probably too late to use them on Valentine cards for *this* year, but I’ll think of something to do with them.

Wishing you a weekend with the perfect mix of things you have to do and things you want to do! ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. Oh Crystal, your pink flower is just as adorable as your blue one! It’s such a pretty design, and they certainly would add lots of cuteness to just about anything!…and the same applies to your whimsical crocheted posy! I just love it! …AND, you KNOW how I feel about hearts…these are just precious! Boy, you’ve been a busy little bee! …Have a fun weekend, hopefully with more of the things you want to do, than the things you have to do! (Wishful thinking!) xoxo Paulette ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Cute flowers AND the hearts.

I think those hearts would be fab worked in thread too. Think of them scattered on the shoulder of a tee or down the front side of a tote/purse.. OK, hook me up with the pattern if you can or I can search one out.

    Happy weekend!!

  3. I like the little hearts and the pink flower. I did a homecheck for a potential adopter yesterday and I cannot think of a better home for one of our group’s foster furkids. I’m making caramel brownies for the puppy love event tomorrow. I have a mix of things to do and things I want to do. I have a meeting before the puppy love event, and then after the puppy love event I will be attending the pasta dinner that the youth group is having to raise money for their mission trip. Hubs will be working so I’m grabbing a movie so he can chill when he gets off work. Have a great weekend everyone, and if it gets into the 60’s on Sunday, I’m going to BBQ!!

  4. Those are the CUTEST little flowers. You always come up with quick and easy projects anyone can try. Even me. ๐Ÿ˜€

I can see a bunch of these made into a landscape in a shadowbox. They would also be cute attached to a purse, made removable. Change up to match your outfit.

With your hearts, you could make a garland and string along the fireplace or hang in a row on a door.

So many cute things!! Creative Crystal!!
