It’s Always Something

As Gilda Radner used to say on the old Saturday Night Live sketch:

“It’s always something!”

The computer virus that I wrestled with for much of the day on Thursday isn’t gone after all. It was apparently just resting before the next skirmish would begin.

Some would say that I’ve led a pretty charmed life in that I’ve rarely had any computer woes. I guess I was overdue!

At this point, I’m going to let the experts have a go at fixing the problem, which means I’ll be without my computer for a while and it may be a few days before you hear from me again . . .

In the meantime, be good! πŸ˜‰

Lots of hugs to all,

You’ll Never Guess

Well, if you’ve been with me – for even a little while – I have a feeling you will be able to guess . . . πŸ˜‰

You see, my old mouse was acting up – going bananas actually! I put up with it for a while. It was corded so a battery was not the problem. I cleaned it, researched the troubleshooting guides, looked for driver updates, etc, etc. and nada!

I realized that I had probably given the poor thing quite a workout and, as my Mum likes to say, “It didn’t really owe me any money.”

So, I bought a new one . . .

Are there any guesses as to which color I chose???

You are correct!!!

It’s PURPLE πŸ˜€

It’s called “Imperial Purple” (well excuuuuse me!!!). πŸ˜‰

You’ll notice I took the opportunity to replace my mouse pad as well. Even though the mouse doesn’t need it, I like to have one just the same. Doesn’t the scene look tranquil and inviting?

Now if I could just click the mouse and immediately be transported there . . .

Note to Self: Next time a mouse is purchased, look for one with the “transport” feature! πŸ˜‰
