Giveaway – Blue Bayou Necklace

Greetings! It’s so nice to “see” you!

Welcome to my giveaway. This week, I have a very pretty choker-style necklace. 🙂

Sometimes a single bead is so beautiful that it can almost stand on its own. When incorporating it into jewelry, you want to be careful to create a simple backdrop so that the bead can take center stage. That’s how I felt about this exquisite vintage glass bead, which was made in Czechoslovakia.

It’s a mouthwatering shade of sapphire blue with a pastel flash of aurora borealis that takes my breath away. The bead is a bold 14mm in size and because it was machine-cut, the faceting is gorgeous! I decided to make a simple, uncluttered necklace to highlight this vintage bead and I used tiny Sapphire AB glass seed beads with Swarovski crystal accents.

Measurements: 18 inches in length.

“Bohemian Nights” Purse Charm

Welcome Kids! I hope you had a fun weekend. Spring has officially sprung, since the last time we chatted!!! 🙂

On to the giveaway!

This week, I thought I’d do something a little different, so I made a charm which can be used on a purse or tote bag. It’s designed with very lovely Vintage Czech Glass beads.

The beads are Jet Black with a gorgeous aurora borealis finish on one side, which flashes blue, green, and teal. You’ll notice several sizes and shapes. I accented the beads with sterling silver rondelles and lace-y silver plated bead caps. A small dangling key charm was added for a bit of whimsy. The key fob style “hanger” is a secure piece of hardware that will enable you to attach this purse charm to a pocketbook strap, handle, or to any large ring that’s on your purse. Measurements: Just over 3″ in length.

Giveaway – Dew Kissed Rose Earrings

Warm Greetings on this first day of March!

Can you believe we’ll be setting the clocks ahead in just a couple of weeks? It’s been wonderful to see the daylight lasting longer and longer into the evening over the last two months, and I’m especially looking forward to adding that hour! 🙂

For this week’s giveaway I have a very sweet pair of earrings!

If you’ve ever been in a garden early on a summer morning, you know how the sun dances on flower petals making dewdrops sparkle like tiny diamonds. These pretty earrings have that same effect.

They feature a very beautiful and increasingly rare type of bead – “Vintage Confetti Lucite”. These beads are a transparent light rose pink with tiny bits of silver glitter sprinkled within the lucite. The glitter under the surface gives them a very subtle sparkle – so pretty!!! I’ve accented the lucite beads with Swarovski Rose Aurora Borealis Crystals and tiny silverplated beadcaps.

Measurements: The length is 1-1/2″ including the earwires, which are made of Sterling Silver.

Giveaway – Spring Blossoms Pendant

Welcome to my weekly giveaway!

Are you watching the Olympics? We’ve really been enjoying it! Of course, we love the figure skating, but we also watch as many of the other sports as we can, and find ourselves cheering enthusiastically for all of the countries! 🙂

For this week’s giveaway, I have a little “breath” of Spring. Can you picture this on one of your silver chains? Or maybe you’ll put it on a cord or a piece of satin ribbon!

A gorgeous artisan-crafted lampwork glass bead is the focal point here. It’s just bursting with pretty blossoms in a pastel palette of pinks, aqua, lavender, and more. I’ve accented the floral bead with Czech glass flowers and Swarovski crystals. The heart-shaped bail is sterling silver, and it’s generous enough that it should accommodate one of the chains that you have in your jewelry wardrobe. The pendant measures 1-1/2” in length – including the bail.
