Welcome to my weekly giveaway.
Special Greetings to my regular readers!
(If you are not yet subscribing to the blog, just click on the orange RSS button on the right side of this page. In doing so, you’ll never miss your chances for the weekly giveaways.)
I hope everyone had at least a little chocolate over the Valentine’s Day weekend. If not, don’t worry – it will be half-price in the stores today! 😉
On to the giveaway . . .
This week, I have a pair of flirty dangle earrings that feature baroque-shaped Czech glass beads in a fabulous girly-girl shade of FUCHSIA pink. They have an icy cool sparkle that will brighten even the dreariest of winter days.
I’ve accented the Czech beads with glittering Swarovski Crystals in both fuchsia and clear aurora borealis. All metal embellishments & findings are *Sterling Silver*!
Measurements: approximately 2″ long, including the sterling silver earwires.
Contest Rules and How To Enter
Any day you leave a comment on this blog – it is counted as a chance to enter that week’s giveaway.
For example, if you answer today’s question (you’ll find it below!) that will give you one chance.
But if you then come back another day this week and comment on a different post – you will have earned another chance in this week’s giveaway! There are usually 4-5 posts per week – Monday through Friday – so you can have multiple chances to enter!
When you comment you do not have to mention that it’s an entry in the giveaway. My blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them, and all will count to be entered into the drawing! 😀
Today’s question is:
Describe the perfect day off!
The Boring Stuff . . .
You must be 18 yrs. old. After the completion of the contest, the name of the winner will be listed here. The winner will also be notified by email. The prize will be mailed via USPS First Class Mail
All entries must be received by 9:00 p.m. EST on 02/21/10, and the winner will be selected on or about 02/22/10.
Well I’m a stay at home mom , so my perfect day off would be a day trip to the cabin and beach with someone cleaning my house so that when I get home it is spotless !
Right now (with my son shoving DVDs into the VCR) I’d say my perfect day would be lying in bed reading and snacking – all by myself!!!
The perfect day off would be brunch at Panera Bread, a trip to the zoo, or something outside. Dinner at PF Changs and a movie.
my perfect day would be when am lying in bed and crocheting!
my perfect day would be a day trip with my friends!
The perfect day off involves a spa… mani, pedi, massage, hair or any combination. No cleaning or taking care of the kiddos.
First of all, Beautiful earrings Crystal!!! As usual, your giveaway is for something gorgeous!
My perfect day off would be a day that I am not obligated to go anywhere or do anything. I could do what I want (or do nothing) without the guilt of knowing I should have been doing something or going somewhere. Also, chocolate would be involved in some way!
The perfect day off would be a beautiful warm sunny day. I would lay of by my pool and read all day.
The perfect day off is to wake up in the carribeans. Thanks for the giveaway.
My perfect would be to stay in my pjs all day, snack when I felt like it, read a good book while cuddled up on the couch and watch a little TV!
Perfect day off would ideally involve a spa. I’d settle for a warm sunny day at the beach with my hubby (reading and playing), followed by nintendo or a movie at night (and not having to cook!).
Beautiful earrings by the way!
My perfect day off is no doubt a day spent with my family.
I love to be with my family.
I have boys in college, so when they are all home and together, that is perfect for me.
Thanks for the giveaway.
The perfect day off is spent catching up on some much needed sleep! Then (if it is summer) working on my tan beside my pool!
My perfect day off is being out in the woods with my camera looking for the next great shot.
A perfect day off is like any other perfect day- it doesn’t matter where I am, but how I am. If my head is clear, and my body’s not acting too badly, and I can be focused, and enjoy whatever I’m doing. One of the best days ever was spent doing laundry.
Hope we all have a perfect day!
The perfect day off would be a sunny warm day in my garden with a canvas and loads of paint.
the perfect day would be – if I had the house to my self, I’d read, nap and take a long bath
Ahhhhhhh, the perfect day is having all meals prepared, all housework done (both of these by someone else) and getting to spend all day in the studio, surrounded by fabric and all things sewing.
My perfect day would include waking up to a fresh cup of coffee, heading to my favorite brunch place, and then maybe a day filled with shopping/spending quality time with my friends.
A book, a bed, and a delicious man to bring me bon bons. Oh, yes.
The perfect day off for a stay at home mom would be anywhere quiet. A closet, I mean anywhere at this point would work. lol
The perfect day off… 80* outside, sunny, getting a new good book that I have been waiting to read… going to the park with a few snacks and staying there all day until I finish my book! Relaxing and freeing my mind from all the stress of work!
Perfect day off would be what i did this past week (feb vacay! yay teachers!) just sleeping in, reading “beach books”, and playing with my darling dog! 🙂
My perfect day off is not having to work outside of the house, not having to work inside the house, not having to watch my kids, not having the husband home, and just sitting in a large warm soapy tub, with my favorite book and or movie ALL DAY!!!!
Perfect day off would include a lot of sports for me – I am crazy about ultimate frisbee, badminton, and swimming. All this combined with the afternoon spent underneath a tree with a book….
