Speaking of Halloween reminds me of pumpkins!!! Have you tried Edy’s Pumpkin Ice Cream, yet? It’s made with real pumpkin and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. We had some this week and give it a definite thumbs-up. But hurry! This is a “limited edition” flavor that will be in stores only through November!

Today, I have a lovely pendant with shades of lavender purple and swirls of raspberry-pink.

Violet Dawn Pendant

The focal point is a vintage West German Glass Teardrop bead, which is accented with sparkling Swarovski crystals. The pendant is suspended from an artisan-crafted sterling silver bail that should accommodate most chains in your collection. Or perhaps you’ll wear it on a leather or satin cord!

Measurements: approximately 2-1/4″ long – including the sterling silver bail.

Giveaway – Pumpkin Patch Earrings

Hi everyone! It’s going to be a busy week so I hope you’ll check back during the next few days to see what’s going on.

Today I have the new weekly contest with something “fall-ish” as the prize! I can hardly believe that it’s already the 44th week of giveaways! Fingers crossed that it’s your turn to win this time. 🙂

If you’re a gal with a bit of a whimsical nature, then these earrings will surely catch your eye! They’re a pair of pumpkins that will look adorable with your fall wardrobe.

These “pumpkins” are actually vintage lucite beads with a rich orange hue. I’ve accented the beads with Swarovski crystals in beautiful olivine green. Textured goldtone beadcaps add a finishing touch, and the earwires are 14k gold plated.

Measurements: Just over 2″ long (including the 14k gold plated earwires).

This week, I have a pretty pair of dangle earrings for all those who love gardens and trees and nature in general. 😀

They’re a gorgeous shade of peridot green and do they ever sparkle!

These “Falling Leaves” Earrings feature delicately etched Czech Glass Leaf beads, Vintage Swarovski peridot aurora borealis crystal teardrops, and contemporary Swarovski peridot crystals. Tiny goldtone beadcaps add a finishing touch, and the pretty earwires are 14k gold plated.

Measurements: Approximately 1-7/8″ long, including the earwires.

When the going gets hot…

I know, I KNOW!!! You are sick and tired of hearing me complain about this heat wave. Good news though! Our weather guy says it will finally break tonight.

Can I get a yabba – dabba – doooooooo?!?!

Well, at least I was productive! 😉

I finished this . . .

I love the pendant on this set. It’s by polymer clay artist extraordinaire, Cheryl Harris. (You can see more of her work here.) To complement the pendant, I chose beads in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors – mostly vintage glass, Czech glass, and Swarovski crystals. I do hope the colors are as pretty on your screen as they actually are in person.

So many ideas . . . so little time!
