Is it Friday already? I have so much more to do!
You, too?
Well, that’s ok. We did our best. Let’s end the week with a smile . . .
This edition of Friday Favorites features an antique Valentine and also some children’s definitions of “Love”. 🙂
Isn’t this pretty enough to frame?
A group of little ones were asked the question:
“What is Love?”
Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired.
Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.
When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.
If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you don’t like to play with.
Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.
You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget, and it’s good for them to get reminded.
Have a great weekend!
Meet you back here Monday for a new giveaway, a new question, and more fun! 🙂
This is cute ( :
I love to hear kids’ perceptions. Their thoughts and observations can be so simplistic. Gives you food for thought.
Hey Crissie
Have a great weekend.
xx Carol
Oh they are great! I love children’s responses and reactions! They are priceless! I love the wearing a t-shirt everyday! and the sip of a coffee! hehe!
Love is… when my husband remembers to not drink all the cool drink and leave me some and then makes some more! Oh and taking my plate over after dinner! Oh it would be nice to do the baby’s bottles sometimes to! Now that would be love!
Hi Sweetie!
Haven’t been to blogland all that much this week, so it’s catch up time again!!! I love the wearing the tee shirt everyday, and the blinking eyelashes with shooting stars!!! THAT made me laugh out loud!
Have a great weekend Crystal!
Hugs,
Paulette xoxo
Happy Friday! There is a lot of wisdom in each of these children’s
perspective on what “Love Is”……
Thanks for sharing, Cindi
These are cute and made me smile. I asked my Holt who is 3 what love is and he said, It is hugging everyone in your family even the dog.
Little kids can have some pretty deep responses. I don’t think I’d be able to define love 🙂
I love kids’ answers to questions. They always seem to tell it like it is!
Hope you have a good weekend!
Lol. love the love meanings for kids, my fave’s the number 2, certainly love help to move the world!
Kids say the cutiest things. Nothing like simplicity and innocence. They do tend to hit the nail on the head!
“Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.”
That’s my favorite part. How sweet.
