Giveaway – Blue Moon Pendant

ornamentssmGood Morning! Or should I say Good Afternoon?

Or if it’s the end of the day where you are – perhaps I should say Sweet Dreams!

Whatever time it is in your corner of the world, I’m very glad you stopped by. 😀

For this week’s giveaway, I have a bold and beautiful pendant in two shades of sapphire blue!

I used very special vintage glass beads that were made in Czechoslovakia. The facets on these beads give them a gorgeous sparkle. You’ll notice there’s an aurora borealis flash on the teardrop and when the light hits the round bead – it glitters like a disco ball.

The metal components are sterling silver and silver plate. The pendant measures a very showy 1-3/4” long, and should fit on most chains in your wardrobe.

  3. How long does it take me to get ready in the morning? If I have to be somewhere, I give myself an hour and 15 minutes from the alarm to leaving the house. If I don’t have anywhere to go… well, let’s just say I’m still sporting my PJs today!

  4. I’m looking forward to a fresh start. It’s been a difficult year, work-wise, so I’m going to enjoy my week off, and start over in January!

  5. I am looking forward to paying off the last credit card and being debt free and having more $ to go on vacation with my family!

They just met my three children for the first time, and it was fantastic to see the cousins play together. I am eager to spend as much time as possible with them all before they return to the other side of the world in late 2010 or early 2011.

  10. It doesn’t take me very long to get ready in the morning if you don’t count the drinking of the coffee…maybe 20 minutes after the coffee but 45 minutes total.

  11. In November 2008, I had gastric bypass surgery. At the time I weighed over 300lbs and my knees were so bad that I could no longer walk without a cane. Even with the cane, my knees were so painful that I couldn’t walk more than a city block. In July 2009 I had double knee replacement surgery. In a year I’ve lost 110lbs. I underwent 2 1/2 months of physical therapy for my knees. In October, my husband and I went on our first real vacation in several years. I was able to walk everywhere. My husband and I are having a great time and have rediscovered each other. So I’m looking forward to doing so much in 2010. I have two goals: to walk the Chesapeake Bay Bridge walk that takes place in May and to ride a bike. I’d love to have this little bit of bling when I do those things!

  12. I am most looking forward to spending more time with my family in 2010. I hope to quit my job and work as a freelancer!

  13. It takes me an hour to get ready in the morning…it’s difficult with long, curly hair!

  15. It takes me about 45 minutes to get ready in the morning if I wash my hair. I have wavey hair and it takes forever to get it straight. If I don’t wash my hair about 25 minutes.

  16. I’m looking forward to making next year my best year yet. I honestly feel like life just keeps getting better the harder I work and the more I try. I’m ready for that fresh start again!

  17. I have getting ready in the morning down to a science. On mornings I’m not teaching aerobics, it takes me about 35 minutes from bed to out the door. Granted, I eat in the car on my way to work, but I feel like I do a pretty good job!

  18. I am most looking forward to in 2010 is finding a way to have the things I want without breaking my bank account. There is a way and I will find it!

  19. If I didn’t have to contend with children, dogs, fish, husband, laundry, dishes, phone calls, emails and dogs(again!), it would probably take me about 15 min to get ready in the morning.

  20. Also, in a typical day, it takes me 30 seconds to get ready… I work from home, so I slip on some comfy pants and pull my hair up and I’m ready to go. If I’m going out, it takes about 15 minutes. I get dressed, brush out my hair, and apply some quick mineral makeup. Then I chase the baby down and try to wrangle her into some clothes. Then I have to find my keys…

  26. I am looking forward to my husband having the surgery he needs and that it to be successful so that we can get on with our lives! I’m also looking forward to my second year of being a grandma!

  27. In the morning it would probably only take me about 45 minutes to get ready if I concentrated and didn’t get side tracked… but I like to wake up slowly doing a little at a time… so I usually stretch it into about an hour and a half.

  28. 2010 … that’s easy! I’ll be graduating in May, provided nothing entirely catastrophic occurs. It’s kind of scary thinking that so much is going to change so soon, that I’ll be entering “the real world”, but it’ll be such an adventure!

  29. In the morning, it generally takes me about half an hour. Mostly because I’m so groggy that I move really, really slowly … and sometimes brush my teeth two or three times because I forget I’ve already done that step. But if I wake up really late, I’ve managed to be out the door in less than five minutes.
