Giveaway – Hot Chocolate Earrings

cupandstayGreetings and welcome to my weekly giveaway! ๐Ÿ™‚

This week, I have a pair of dangle earrings with rich earthy colors – just the thing to spruce up your Thanksgiving outfit! They’re dressy enough for a festive occasion yet they have an “artsy-look” so they’re also perfect for jeans and a sweater!

Iโ€™ve used an array of interesting beads here, including:

*Czech Glass striped triangular beads in warm Cocoa Brown, Rust, Denim Blue, and Montana Blue.

*Vintage Lucite rounds in a mottled Copper/Brown

*Swarovski crystals in Montana Blue Aurora Borealis

All metal components are sterling silver. The earrings measure approximately 2-1/4″ in length, including the sterling silver earwires.

Contest Rules and How To Enter

This week, you will have up to three (3) chances to enter the weekly giveaway.

You can choose any or all of the following 3 ways to enter:

1st Chance:

Leave a comment answering the first weekly question:

What is it that you must have with you when you travel?

2nd Chance:

Leave a comment answering the second weekly question:

List your criteria for a good day. ๐Ÿ™‚

3rd Chance:

Visit again another day this week and leave a comment on any other post except this one. You do not have to tell me that you left a “comment” on another post. The blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them, and all will count to be entered into the drawing! ๐Ÿ˜€

The Boring Stuff . . .
You must be 18 yrs. old. After the completion of the contest, the name of the winner will be listed here. The winner will also be notified by email. If no valid email address is given at time of entry, or if winner fails to respond to email within 3 days from the time notification email has been sent, the win will be null and void and a new winner will be chosen. The prize will be mailed by USPS First Class Mail.

All entries must be received by 9:00 p.m. EST on 11/22/09, and the winner will be selected on or about 11/23/09.

  1. When I travel, i need an activity. A book, my knitting needles or anything else. And music. It used to be a walkman, then a discman, now it’s a mp3 player…

  2. Criteria for a good day:
    -my daughter is healthy (not that she’s often sick but I don’t take it for granted);
    -my clients don’t make me sick;
    -my dear boyfriend doesn’t bring the Xth ticket for having parked wrong;
    -the sun is shining;
    -someone smiles to me in the subway;
    -no bill in the mailbox.

  3. Criteria for a good day:
    ~ Great nights sleep and feeling refreshed in the morning
    ~ Kids not fighting
    ~ Puppy behaving !

  4. My MUST have when traveling is my dog, Tess…I can’t leave home without her. She travels with me everywhere.

  5. criteria for a good day:
    – hot coffee
    – no committments – can do things at my own pace
    – learning something new

  6. I usually travel by car and always take and extra quart of oil, and some tools. Not sure why I take the tools becuase I know nothing about working on cars!

  7. For a good day, I need a hug or a kiss from at least one person. A day without either is not worth living!

  8. For a good day… I need to wake up feeling refreshed, have a good cup of expensive coffee and get to work only to realize that my nemesis isn’t there.

  9. When I travel, the one thing I *have* to have is something to do. Now it’s my iPod (music and games!), but when I was younger it was a book (or two or three or four…the iPod is much more compact).

  10. My criteria for a good day include quiet time by myself and time with my sweetie. Of course, chocolate doesn’t hurt either! ๐Ÿ™‚
