Hey there! 😀

Welcome to my weekly giveaway. For this week, I have a delicious pair of earrings in a mouth-watering shade of coral. They sparkle like crazy!

CoralSkies2

These “Coral Skies” earrings feature bold and beautiful 10mm round Swarovski Padparadscha faceted crystals as focal points. I’ve embellished the rounds with lacy silver-plated beadcaps and sterling silver beads/findings. The elegant earwires are sterling silver.

Measurements: approximately 1-5/8”” long ( including the sterling silver earwires).

Contest Rules and How To Enter

This week, you will have up to three (3) chances to enter the weekly giveaway.

You can choose any or all of the following 3 ways to enter:

1st Chance:

Leave a comment answering the first weekly question:

What is your favorite candy? If you’re not a fan of candy, what food do you consider a “treat”?

2nd Chance:

Leave a comment answering the second weekly question:

When you are shopping for an item that appears to be “on sale” and then you notice that you must send in a rebate form to actually get the “sale”, does it irritate you? Do you still buy the item, and do you actually send in the form?

3rd Chance:

Comment on any other post except this one. You can do it today or another day this week. You do not have to tell me that you left a “comment” on another post. The blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them! 😀

The Boring Stuff . . .

Giveaway- Coral Skies Earrings — 41 Comments

  1. You made MY FAVORITE COLOR!!!!

Favorite Candy? No easy answers from me.

    If I just want chocolate ~ I buy M & Ms.

If I am lucky, they sell Chunky candy bars ~ my VERY favorite.

Some days I want chocolate covered raisons.

Other days ~ Chocolate covered Englist Toffee, which I haven’t had in years.

I am not a candy eater, but when I do buy it, which is only a couple of times a year, I only buy one of the above. I am very selective.

  2. I hate rebates. They are just a hook to sucker you in and hope you will forget to send it.

No, I don’t buy based on a rebated price. I only buy what is on sale, as much as I can unless I need it badly.

The older I get, the less I “need” ANYTHING materialistically.

  3. I guess I tend to like candies I can only get seasonally. I go nuts when the Mary Janes come out in the fall; can’t wait for the Peach Blossoms at Christmas and jelly beans in the spring. Rest of the year, if I have candy it’s usually caramels or something chewy. I’m one of the few who doesn’t really care for chocolate and can turn it down….

  4. Rebates do not float my boat I can tell you, but I have jumped through the hoops to get one! Sometimes saving money is an obsession. I have gone through the rigamaroll and never received my rebate too for what ever reason…too much hassle to find out. I do however like doing the rebate stuff at RiteAid only because it’s as simple as submitting the receipt online. Once I get the checks, I use them for more deals and use coupons to boot, so I get some great prices.

  5. I don’t like rebates…I like to save money of course, but it’s not worth waiting for a rebate that may never arrive.

  6. Love the earrings such a nice color for fall. My favourite candy is chocolate it can be milk, white, dark, with nuts, fruit, peanut butter etc. Thanks for the giveaway. Marian

  7. Peanut M&M’s make me smile:) My husband brings them home to me when he knows I’ve had a rough day.

  8. If I have to send it to get the rebate – like at FYE on movies and stuff, I don’t anymore. We’re still waiting on two different ones from two years and a year ago. But if it’s for a cell phone or something like that, then it’s ok. *lol*

  9. What beautiful earrings!
My favourite candy is Toblerone chocolate. I was born in Switzerland, so it’s just in the genes!! (Good excuse, eh?) LOL

As for rebates–yes, they drive me nuts, because even though I have good intentions, and buy the product anyway, I then end up throwing the receipt or UPC code away, and never get the rebate sent! 🙂

  10. My favorite candy of all time is Milk Duds, I could probably go through an entire box. Anything with caramel is appealing though.
I remember those carmel apple pops, apple flavors and coated in caramel? Haven’t had them in years, and I don’t know where to find them, but I remember them being delicious.

  11. The only thing I ever bought that had a mail in rebate was a memory card for my camera, and you can bet I mailed in that rebate! It is an extra step, but it’s not that hard. The money is always worth the 2 minutes it takes to mail it off.

  12. It does irritate me because I think someone wants to trick me into buying something and hopes that at least a few people will for whatever reason not send their rebates in. I do buy though, and make sure I send mine in. Not with me, you clever marketers!

  13. I do not like rebates-unless its a large one. I don’t bother if its a few dollars. And unless I really want the product I probably will not buy it.

  14. Pretty earrings! My fav candy is all of it. lol I would say peanutbutter cups. Also, I love milk choc fudge and choc covered peanuts. Thanks!

  15. To answer your second question- if something on sale had a rebate ‘catch’ on it, no, I wouldn’t still buy it

  16. My favorite candy are Swedish fish! I remember loving them since being introduced to them as a kid in preschool.

  17. If there is an item that has a rebate I buy it if I really like it. Yes, I do send it in. I find that if I do it right away I do not lose the form or receipt or UPC! If I wait then I always have trouble finding what I need. I do get annoyed with rebates because I am sure the company is banking on the fact that people will not want to bother to send them in.

  18. Hi Crystal!

Those earrings are soooo GORGEOUS!!!! …BUT, all of your jewelry is!!! You make the most BEAUTIFUL things!

I have a sweet tooth. I’d have to say many sweet teeth! I really love Cella chocolate cover cherries, butter crunch, dark chocolate, chocolate covered raspberry rings, truffles, and M&M peanuts…I’d say those are my favorites!!! =D (I have good teeth, believe it or not!)

I never buy something because of a rebate. I hate those things.

    Hugs, Paulette 😉

  19. yes it irritates me but it depends on how much the rebate is for, sometimes i will still buy it and not send in the rebate

  20. Favorite candy is the Kirkland Caramel Macadamia Clusters – to die for. I am truly addicted to them. And anyone creating a 12 step program for fighting addiction to them shall be shunned!

Rebates, hate them, but will jump through the hoops if it’s worth my time and I can remember to do it. The companies definitely bank on luring you in with the offer and most customers not following through. I really think it’s a crappy practice, hate when I never get the rebate or it takes forever and I’d be much more likely to buy a similarly priced product with no rebate.

  21. the whole rebate thing bugs me. I want to save money right then and there. I usually don’t participate in a purchase if a mail in rebate is required, unless it is something I already buy on a regular basis, or a new product that I want to try and it will end up being free after the rebate.
