My quote is my own, and is something like
“A real friend lets you be yourself, and holds you back when you are ready to jump off the roof.” I tell my friend Deb all the time that she grounds me. She fills that certain need when I must vent and she knows that I don’t need her to find a solution, just support.
We all have friends that fulfill a certain need, but if you find one that fills them all, well that’s a BEST friend and we all need one.
So, if you can’t be a best friend, then try to be a GOOD friend.

This post was so touching! I live very far from my actual family, so my friends become my family. I am truly thankful for the wonderful people who are willing to call me “friend.”
I’m sorry I’m so hit or miss lately on the comments – work is really busy and school is starting back up, so I’m not able to get to the blog every day… Hopefully things will settle down soon/we’ll hire someone, but till then, 150%!
