This week’s “Friday Favorites” features a lovely illustration from a vintage book for children. I’ve added a quotation to go along with it! To me, the message suggests that we try to put ourselves in the shoes of others. ๐
“Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion – a child’s loss of a doll and a king’s loss of a crown are events of the same size.โ Mark Twain
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!
See you Monday for the new questions. ๐
I love vintage book illustrations and especially love those that feature children. I like to use them for papercrafting and cards….or just for a nostalgic trip back in time!
aww..i love this image too! I collect vintage images from old magazines and catalogs for my collage art. I wish I could draw like that!
I adore children’s books and vintage ones are especially nice!
Great caption for the illustration. Cindi
