OK, on to this week’s giveaway!
This pretty pair of earrings remind me of a sunny day in summer!
They’re cool lemonade and refreshing key lime pie all rolled into one! The color is not quite yellow, not quite green, but that lovely lemon-lime shade, which is often referred to as “limon”.
They feature vintage Lucite beads that have a slightly twisted rectangular shape – very unique and oh so pretty! I’ve accented the Lucite beads with rare vintage Swarovski Jonquil Aurora Boralis crystals! You’ll notice tiny gold beadcaps for a finishing touch, and the 14k gold-plated earwires are beautifully made.
Measurements: Approximately 1-5/8″ in length, including the earwires
Contest Rules and How To Enter
1. For your first chance to win: How about a whimsical question? 😉
Let’s assume you are totally unattached – no partner, husband, wife, significant other, best friend, etc. Leave a comment which answers the question: Which celebrity would you run away with if he/she knocked on your door?
2. For a second chance to win, leave a second comment that answers the question: What was your least favorite subject in school?
3. For a third chance to win, leave a comment on any other post on this blog. You can do it today by looking for a post in the archives to comment on, or you can come back during the week and add a comment on any post – old or new. You will receive an extra entry each time you do so.
You can choose any one or all of the above chances to enter.
A valid email address must be given at time of entry. You must be 18 yrs. old.
The name of the winner will be listed here after the completion of the contest. The winner will be notified by email. The prize will be mailed by USPS First Class Mail. If no valid email address is given at time of entry, or if winner fails to respond to email within 3 days from the time notification email has been sent, the win will be null and void and a new winner will be chosen.
All entries must be received by 9:00 p.m. EST on 04/05/09, and the winner will be selected on or about 04/06/09.
#1 hugh grant! not the hugh grant in real life tho because he’s always bashing things up? the hugh grant in romcoms yesssss.
#2 MATH. couldn’t stand all those numbers!
I would run away with Tom Selleck.
My least favorite subject…Greek Mythology. Yuk!
Left a comment on Still Soup Weather. I’m going to whip up a batch of your soup!
I’d have to say Robert Downey, Jr. <3
My least favorite subject is Social Science
Oh man…it might be easier to ask which celebrity I wouldn’t run away with. Oh well – if I had to choose one, it would probably be Leonardo DiCaprio. I had the hugest crush as a kid (can we say “Titanic”?) but he’s certainly become a great actor in the past few years.
My least favorite subject, hands down, was Math. And it wasn’t even that I wasn’t good at it – it just bored the hell out of me.

OOO, the earrings are superb! So so summer.
You want me to run off with somebody, huh? Hmmmm. If I can only pick one, I have to think on that for a while. My best is gone now. Paul Newman and his icy blue eyes, man. Love the fact that he was married forever, too.
Hard for me to think whimsy. I pick somebody then think about some of the jerk stuff they have done.
OK, got it. For purely sexual attraction reasons, I pick Keanu Reeves.
OMG 9th grade algebra. Here is how my end grades looked…
A, B, C, C, D, D. BAREly held off an F. I just can’t think in the unknown.
I would pick Johnny Depp! No doult about that! If I had another choice for 2nd place, it would be christopher north. I love the questions you ask! thanks great giveaway!
I would say Math for my least favorite subject.
I left a message on a license to borrow post.
#1 I would say Brad Pitt.
#2 Least favorite was English.
#1 John Krasinski, hands down
#2 My least favorite subject was English
If Hugh Jackman showed up at my door I’d be gone…..wouldn’t even pack a bag!
My absolute least favorite subject was Chemistry. The teacher had a weird accent and kept saying significant figger (figure) over and over again. She drove me crazy but I still passed!
I would run away with Naveen Andrews (Sayeed from LOST). There’s just something about him!
Geometry was my least favorite subject in school. I just never caught on!
I would pick Jim Carey.
I did not like History.
My main fantasy man is Hugh Jackman. Yummy!
My worst subject in high school was Geometry. Ugh-just couldn’t grasp it. In college my nightmare class was Bacteriology. Math & science was just not my thing.
Hi Crystal!!!!Well, I think I will run even nowadays if Richard Gere knocks at my door!!!!!
So pretty earrings!!!! They are fresh like a lemon ice-cream!!!!
History… I like to listen it but I’m too bad remembering dates and kings!!!!!!
It would definitely be Keith Urban!
Least favorite subject: world history
I’d run away with George Clooney. He just seems so fun, but serious when necessary…now if he’d just stop the drinking……
Oh God, Math just sucked for me. You are either a natural at Math or English, it seems, and English made sense to me which is bizarre because Math is the subject that is really logical!

David Archuleta! I know, I know he’s really young.
My least favorite subject was History.
#1 – Harry Connick Jr. He acts, he writes music, he sings, and he’s hot. What’s not to love?
1) I have no idea! To be honest I’m not willing to run away with anyone without getting to know them first!!! I’d give Matt Damon a date though.
#2 History. Ugh. I was just never interested. I know I SHOULD care about history – but oh man those history classes sucked!
2) My least favourite subject in school was PE. When I was in junior high we played games for fun (kick the can, soccer/baseball). In highschool I was shocked to find out it was all about skill — something I hadn’t picked up a lot of in junior high! lol…
3) I posted a comment on “A License to Borrow”!
Cute earrings! My least favorite in school was PE ( :
would love to run away with robert pattinson. yumm.
Least fav subject. math of course
Hmm, I’d have to agree with the first date first…but I’ve always thought Josh Groban was a cutie. 🙂
My least favorite subject was math too. I never felt I was very good when it came to formulas or equations.
I would love to b*n# Jake Gylenhaal 🙂 and run away with him of course
And I hated biology
OK, I was just telling my hubs the other night that if Benecio Del Toro knocked on our door I would be gone in 5 minutes. Just would need to throw a few things in a bag and I would be outta there.
Math was absolutely the hardest for me anything beyond the basics adding, subtracting and dividing I’m lost.
