Beads and the Beach . . .

These Vintage Czech Glass beads are among my favorites in our bead shop! They’re a spectacular lilac purple with a cool matte finish, which gives them the look of sea glass!

Her work reflects a love of nature, especially the ocean. She skillfully incorporates sea glass, natural gemstones, and other carefully chosen beads into gorgeous pieces of jewelry. I love how she showcased our lilac rectangles in this expansion bracelet.

Beads and the Beach . . . — 7 Comments

  1. Those beads DO look like beach glass. Funny, I was raised on Lake Michigan and all I ever found was shells and dead fish!
    xx, Carol

  2. The beads are truly beautiful. They remind me of the lavender farm by my house. There are miles and miles of the fragrant flowers. The bracelet is a work of art itself.
We did not ride in Jamaica. They drive on the left and the roads are not great. There is a t-shirt they sell that says, ” I survived the road to Negril.” Its the truth too.
I had a job interview today. They called as I walked in the door after the interview and I will be meeting with the Superintendent. It is more a formality than anything. They will also be checking my references. I called my references to give them a “heads-up.” Everyone is so excited for me. I so grateful that my hard work and dedication is paying off. I cannot wait. Crystal, thank you for all your wonderful thoughts. It means so much to me.-Kelly-

  3. I met with the Superintendent today. I will be starting my job as soon as the background check and fingerprints come back, OK. It will be nice to work in the bookstore at the college a few more weeks so I can say goodbye to everyone.

  4. Hi Kelly,
Things sure have changed since Miss Beadle was teaching Laura and Mary Ingalls!

We are in full summer mode here…. hottest weather of the season!
    Hope it’s cooler there. xoxo

  5. Hi Sweetie, I’ve missed you. πŸ™‚ You’re right about those pretty purple beads looking like sea glass. Sally’s bracelet is beautiful! Hugs, xoxo
