Almost Wordless Wednesday — 14 Comments

  1. You were cleaning out closets during your hiatus and found them in an old purse with purple nail polish in it. πŸ˜€

  2. Good Day!!
I don’t have a clue…between the couch cushions? O, if it’s like my laundry room, in the washer because someone didn’t check pockets..or the bottom of the washer. Ok, in Sir Beads pocket. Maybe you checked the coin return on a vending machine. No? I give.

Right now I have two lunch bags of coins on the dining room table that Terry has collected from coins left in apartments when tenents move out. I sort silver and pennies. The pennies go to the machine at Walmart cause I hate to wrap pennies. I save the silver for garage sales and the annual trip to the flea market in Shipshewanna, Indiana which is an all day walk through.

Sorry, that was more than ALMOST wordless.
You all have a chatty day!!
    xx, Carol

  3. Bottom of your purse?

I never have change because I never have cash! It always goes to Annelise for allowance or some school thing that needs money sent in. I operate soley on my debit card & am in real trouble if I need cash. I always feel bad when we go to Sonic and I don’t have any cash to tip the sweet carhops that bring the food. If you use your debit card, there is nowhere to add a tip!
She LOVES to clean out her dad’s car because he always has change under the seats and she gets to keep what she finds if she does a good job.

  4. I remember as a little girl, one of my favorite “games” was to search through my mother’s purses looking for pennies, nickels and GUM. She always had little sticks of gum. Sometimes I would find small coins. Which I would take to the candy store to buy penny candy. πŸ˜€

  5. I find change in the dryer from hubs pants pocket and in the couch cushions. I get to keep any I find.

    Today’s celebrations
5/4 Renewal Day (today is the day to renew it, rejuvenate it, and bring the spark back into it)
5/4 Great American Grump Out (don’t be a grouch day)
5/4 Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you)
    5/4 National Homebrew Day
    5/4 National Orange Juice Day

  6. I forgot to mention…..

I have a little stack of coins like that. I found them one at a time as I walked through the neighborhood in the last 2 years. I even found a charm bracelet, washers, and a CD. My plan was to make a bracelet out of my finds. But never did.

That could be one of my Show and Tell’s. And I never did send you my Titanic collection. As you saw on my blog, it is HUGE. And didn’t know if you had space for it all. πŸ˜€

  7. Hey there, Donna,
I’ll bet it would be fun to make a charm bracelet from your coins!
If you do, I’d love to feature it as a show and tell. πŸ™‚

  8. Hi Kelly.
I will pour a glass of orange juice to celebrate! πŸ˜€
(Always good to get some extra Vitamin C!)

Clenna was right, yesterday! You are a blessing!

  9. Allison,
Aw, how fun for Annelise to keep the car change! Our kids loved to search for it too! πŸ™‚ Thanks for making me smile at the memory!

  10. I feel that you and all the wonderful people who comment are the blessings. Everyone here has such great ideas and interesting hobbies that I like to read about. I was late today, and was hoping I was not too late for the celebrations.

With everyone here its easy not to be a grouch!

    Take Care Everyone!
