Welcome back Kids!
How was your weekend? π
Sir Beads and I enjoyed ours. It was the perfect blend of rest, chores, and fun with the family.
Some of my happiest moments as a child were spent with a small plastic bottle of watery liquid soap and a bubble wand. What bliss it was to to sit on our front steps, and dreamily blow strings of colorful bubbles! Magic, for sure!
This week’s giveaway features gorgeous Czech glass beads that bring back memories of those iridescent bubbles and how they glinted in the sunshine!
I’ve added limited edition Swarovski crystals that coordinate beautifully with the “bubble” beads! All findings are sterling silver, including the artisan-crafted ear wires. Overall length is 1-1/2″.
Contest Rules and How To Enter
Any day you leave a comment on this blog – it is counted as a chance to enter that weekβs giveaway.
For example, if you answer todayβs question (youβll find it below!) that will give you one chance.

When you comment you do not have to mention that it’s an entry in the giveaway. My blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them, and all will count to be entered into the drawing! π

pretty earings!!
favourite snack: kenal corn!
favourite shirt: right now it is the led zeppelin tank top i made hehe
favourite jewelry: these pretty earings that are gold hoops and coloured glass beads that is from etsy π
My favorite snack- lately, I always have Pringles and Sabra Hummus with Pine Nuts on hand. I am SO addicted to these. The good thing is, they aren’t terribly bad for you.
My favorite shirt- I have different ones for different things, but the one that I popped into my head is a black t-shirt from a museum. It has Einstein riding a bicycle through the galaxy and a quote of his on it. Oh, and the best part…it glows in the dark! I’m such a nerd.
My favorite piece of jewelry- My wedding ring, of course!
My favouite snack at the moment
is crackers and cheese. If I’m really hungry
I just eat them as is. If I want to kick it up
a notch I put olives on top and melt the cheese
and crackers in the microwave. Oh! I can’t forget
the small sprinkle of pepper on it as well.
My favourite shirt is a black short sleeve polyester
and spandex top that I wear with black pants and I
have a coloured jacket or sweater to go along with it.
My favourite piece of jewelry is a pair of pearl stud earrings.
They seem to go with every thing I wear.
You spoke of bubble fun in your post.
I remember the fun I had with my kids when they
were young with bubbles.
I wonder what my son is thinking when we go shopping
lately and every time we go past where all the bubble stuff is
I’m saying to him “OH! Look at this!” As I’m entranced
with all the bubble blowing items. He’s probably thinking
I wonder if she’ll just walk by this time or will she stop?
I like bubbles.
Beautifuil – “Pretty Bubbles” earrings.
Hmmm, big order today. Glad you are back.
Favorite shirt….3 actually. About 10 years ago I picked up 3 long sleeve denim shirts at Target on the clearance rack. I used to wear them to work over a t-shirt.. Now, 10 years later all three have worn a huge hole in just the left elbo. I continue to wear them at home. I like to have a little something over a t-shirt in spring and fall and I can’t bear to give them up. I thought about replacing the sleeves, but the shirts are just worn out and it would be fruitless.
Fave snack is easy–carmel corn, especially from the shops downtown Chicago…made fresh with butter and just so GOOD. Making myself drool just THINKING about it.
Fave jewelry is tough..would have to be earrings cause I won’t leave home without them. My newest pair are pink rhinestones. I find myself wearing pink just so I can wear the earrings. Next would be another pair that are sterling with a loop and chains going through them with different colored beads hanging from the chains. Oh, and my copper hoops.
Have a great day all
I’m on gardencation.
Good Morning Sweet Crystal!
I’m a bubble lover myself, only I never grew out of them. I always have a bottle under my kitchen sink!
These beautiful earrings really do look like bubbles! What fun, Sweetie! π
Picking just one favorite snack is so hard, so I’ll give you one salty and one sweet! Popcorn with salt and globs of butter (oh yum!) … I can’t walk past a movie theater without my mouth starting to water! My favorite sweet snack is dark chocolate, peanut M&Ms, cookies, apple pie and ice cream …sorry, I just couldn’t stick to one!
I don’t have a favorite shirt, but anything with a little sparkle always catches my eye! When I’m at home, a big, worn out flannel shirt is usually my first choice. It’s great over a pair of leggings and it hides all the parts that show I’ve been snacking too much!
About 15 years ago, my house was robbed, and they got all my favorites!
You know the funny thing is, I saved all the things I loved and never wore them, because I didn’t want to possibly lose or break something … then some creep breaks into my home and takes everything! Lesson learned, wear what you love, and don’t just let it sit around in your jewelry box!
Have a fun day Crystal!
xoxo Paulette π

Lovely earrings! ^^ My siblings and I together with my cousins always used to have fun blowing bubbles when we were younger. Shirt-comfy t-shirt. I have tons of comfy t-shirts, I love them because they are simple and can be worn with jeans and they are comfortable!
Jewelry-a pendant my brother in law got for me. It is made of mother of pearl in the shape of a large teardrop. it is just gorgeous and can go with everything. It dresses up and down well!
My favorite snack is green grapes. I don’t know the name of the variety, but they are medium sized, spherical (not oval), and a bit tart. And heavenly. I adore them!
My favorite shirt is a super-comfortable t-shirt that I screen-printed ages ago with a ghost running (flying?) across the back. The print has faded now, so it’s really soft. The whole thing is comfy and cozy and and one of a kind.
My favorite piece of jewelry is a necklace my sister bought for me, the focus of which is a piece of fossilized nautilus. It’s incredibly beautiful, and also really nerdy, but only if you know what it is. It’s like a secret geek necklace! It’s also great because it’s has a bit of a a hippie vibe, but is also chic and classic enough to wear to really fancy places. I wear it more than any other piece of jewelry I own.
