Spring-a-ling

BunnyYellowFlowersSpring is the theme for this week’s Lucky Seven!

I’ve found 7 great quotations on the subject! 😀

They cover everything about this colorful season – from the unpredictability and the irony to the joy and the humor!

The last one is my favorite.

Which one do you like best?

First a howling blizzard woke us,
Then the rain came down to soak us,
And now before the eye can focus – Crocus.
~Lilja Rogers

The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month. ~Henry Van Dyke

  1. OMGosh, I love this picture more than any one you have ever posted. What is it about it that I love so much. Yellow flowers? no, they’re my least favorite. Here I am enjoying this visual gift and have to figure out why it appeals to me so much. Sad. But I love it.

    My fav quote:
If you’ve never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom. ~Terri Guillemets

I like it so much, I wrote it in my favs journal.
    Happy Spring day!
    XX, Carol

  2. Hi Sweetie! I think the first one is my favorite, but they’re all really good! Have a fun day! xo Paulette

  3. I like the “If you’ve never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom”. ~Terri Guillemets

I love it when the first tulips and buttercups appear. It makes me feel so good when the redbud and dogwood trees start blooming.

  4. I totally agree the last one is great! I love spring the smell of the air and the breeze that blows!

  5. I like the Henry Van Dyke one. All the others seem to be by people who live in rather colder climes, but oh yes, that first Spring Day shows up in February, freaks out all the plants, and then ducks away and hides, playing coy until late March. But it’s spring now, and the flowers are in riot! Hope your fields are looking good, too!
