Giveaway – Winter Pines Earrings

Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I’ve crossed a few things off my list, but I’ve decided to enjoy Thanksgiving before I do too much more. I have to remind myself to enjoy each holiday, so for the next few days, my plan is to stop and smell the ~~roses~~ pumpkin pie! 😀

This week I have a pair of earrings that are a wintry forest green. Their shape and color remind me of pine needles so “Winter Pines” seemed to be the perfect name for them.

They feature two different kinds of vintage beads! The “drops” are Vintage Moonglow Lucite with a lovely, soft shimmer on their surface. I’ve accented the drops with glittering Olivine Aurora Borealis faceted rounds – which are Vintage German Glass. For pierced ears, these earrings measure just over 2 inches in length including the sterling silver earwires.

Giveaway – Hot Chocolate Earrings

This week, I have a pair of dangle earrings with rich earthy colors – just the thing to spruce up your Thanksgiving outfit! They’re dressy enough for a festive occasion yet they have an “artsy-look” so they’re also perfect for jeans and a sweater!

Hot Chocolate Earrings

I’ve used an array of interesting beads here, including:

*Czech Glass striped triangular beads in warm Cocoa Brown, Rust, Denim Blue, and Montana Blue.

*Vintage Lucite rounds in a mottled Copper/Brown

*Swarovski crystals in Montana Blue Aurora Borealis

All metal components are sterling silver. The earrings measure approximately 2-1/4″ in length, including the sterling silver earwires.

Candy Corn

This year . . . the very humid days at the end of August had me dreaming of Fall, so I started to work on some autumn-inspired jewelry.

Here’s a pair of earrings that I’m calling “Candy Corn”. 😉

I think they have sort of a subtle Autumn/Halloween flavor. Wouldn’t they be pretty with a jacket done in earth tones?

The pumpkin-colored teardrops are vintage lucite, and the very unique “candy corn” beads are Czech glass (currently available in my shop).

As a native New Englander, I fell in love with Autumn at a very early age. They say the foliage in this area is more colorful than in other parts of the country. I don’t know if that’s true . . . but it is breath-takingly beautiful here during the Fall.

Of course, there are so many things to love about this time of year, like apples and cider and pumpkins and mums. 😀 It’s sweater weather, and time to make soup!

On crisp Autumn days, the sky’s more blue; the air more refreshing! It’s a magical time – not too hot . . . not too cold . . . when Mother Nature allows us a last little respite before the icy winds blow.

Giveaway – Pumpkin Patch Earrings

Hi everyone! It’s going to be a busy week so I hope you’ll check back during the next few days to see what’s going on.

Today I have the new weekly contest with something “fall-ish” as the prize! I can hardly believe that it’s already the 44th week of giveaways! Fingers crossed that it’s your turn to win this time. 🙂

If you’re a gal with a bit of a whimsical nature, then these earrings will surely catch your eye! They’re a pair of pumpkins that will look adorable with your fall wardrobe.

These “pumpkins” are actually vintage lucite beads with a rich orange hue. I’ve accented the beads with Swarovski crystals in beautiful olivine green. Textured goldtone beadcaps add a finishing touch, and the earwires are 14k gold plated.

Measurements: Just over 2″ long (including the 14k gold plated earwires).

Friday Favorites – Pumpkin Pendant

It’s Friday and you know what that means . . .

Yep, Friday Favorites! 😀

These are my favorite beads at the moment! (currently available in my shop).

They’re vintage lucite. Don’t they look like little pumpkins?

Of course I just had to make something with them right away, so I made a pair of earrings that will be next week’s giveaway! They’ll be the perfect accent for an autumn outfit.

Next, I made a dangling pendant . . .

Whether it’s worn up high on the neck or worn long – I’m thinking it looks best on a simple black cord.
