Giveaway – Misty Lilac Earrings

Hi there!

I’m so glad you stopped by. 🙂

Talk about fun and interesting comments! Last week’s answers to which 5 items you would want if you were stranded on a desert island were terrific! There was such a wide range of ideas – some incredibly clever and some absolutely hilarious! Thank you so much for participating!

(If you are new to this blog, you can always find the winner of the previous week’s giveaway by clicking the “Giveaway Info” button located on the right side of this page)

This week’s giveaway is a pair of dangle earrings that are not only fun, but have a touch of glamour, too!

They’d be the perfect earrings to pack for a vacation because they could be worn either for a day of sightseeing or an evening on the town!

These “Misty Lilac” Earrings feature beautiful diamond-shaped Czech glass beads with a graceful twist. The beads have a transparent watercolor effect in glorious shades of teal and violet. I’ve accented them with Silver Bali beads and Swarovski Crystals in coordinating colors!

Giveaway – Nile River Earrings

Oh my goodness, there were some great answers to last week’s contest questions, particularly about the “most unusual gift” you’ve ever received!

Some were hilarious and some were more serious, like Aik’s for example. Her most unusual gift was actually very special – a coin from the Ching-Dynasty that belonged to her Grandma!

And Carol received a gift from her amazingly thoughtful DH, that some called unusual, but it was actually the perfect gift for a lady who loves to sew!

Thank you so much to everyone for your comments and for joining in the fun.

This week’s giveaway is an adorable pair of dangle earrings that I’m calling “Nile River” – because the beads look like little pyramids! 😉

onthenile2

These “Nile River” Earrings feature gorgeous, dimensional, “pyramid-shaped” Czech Glass beads that are clear crystal with swirls of blue, green and pink. I’ve accented them with Swarovski Crystals in coordinating colors and all findings are sterling silver. They’re even prettier in person – with much more sparkle!

Measurements: approximately 1-1/2″ long – including the sterling silver earwires.

Giveaway – “Cape Cod Breeze” Earrings

Hi!

What is it they say about expect the unexpected? I guess it’s Murphy’s Law – anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

(Thanks Chris for missing me! 🙂 )

We planned a little get-away over last weekend. I prepared Friday’s post early and was just about to schedule it, so that I could move on to packing for the trip, when all of a sudden there was some issue on wordpress and I couldn’t post. The timing was such a nuisance, because I should have been gathering stuff into the suitcase instead of tearing my hair out on the computer! I finally had to give up trying to post and off we went for the weekend. (It was a nice trip by the way – more on that later.)

From the road on Saturday night, I had some brief internet access. Lo and behold, the wordpress glitch had miraculously resolved itself, so I was finally able to put up the Friday post then.

It’s funny how unnerving it can be when the blog goes a little wonky! 😉

But enough about that…. on to the GIVEAWAY!!!

This week’s giveaway is a slightly more delicate pair of dangle earrings – perfect for the gal who likes a little dangle but not the very-long length of the typical “shoulder duster” style.

aquacarvedroses

These “Cape Cod Breeze” Earrings feature gorgeous, dimensional, carved glass “roses” in a beautiful aqua sea blue. I’ve accented them with two sizes of Swarovski Jet AB 2X Crystals, which coordinate beautifully with the rose beads

Measurements: approximately 1-1/2″ long – including the sterling silver earwires.

Giveaway – Violet Blossoms Pendant!

Welcome to the weekly giveaway!

As usual, great comments last week! 🙂

I’m always surprised by the variety of answers.

There were lots of great memories with the TV shows you mentioned, and maybe we should all swap household chores – so that we could avoid the ones we dislike the most! lol

This week’s giveaway is a fun and funky pendant with shades of lavender and swirls of raspberry-pink.
