Happy 1st-full-week of October!!! π
Hope you had a lovely weekend and welcome to my weekly giveaway. Today, I have a sparkling little bauble that would make a wonderful holiday gift or maybe you’d prefer to keep it for yourself.
As I often say . . . “Nothing sparkles like a Swarovski.” Well, this pendant has four of them! The focal point is a 10mm faceted round crystal in light amethyst. The accent crystals are also light amethyst – but with an aurora borealis flash that reflects a rainbow of blues, greens and purples.
This pendant is suspended from an artisan-crafted sterling silver bail, which should accommodate most chains in your collection. Or perhaps youβll wear it on a leather or satin cord!
Measurements: just over 2″ long β including the sterling silver bail.

Very good questions this week.
I visit Etsy.com daily. I love to see the front page treasury. I have bought so cool treasures that have been featured there, or from a seller that it led me to.
If this counts, the dashboard of my blog so I can check for new posts on the blogs I follow.
That’s about the only places I am guaranteed to go. But those visits always lead to interesting places!
If I buy a card, which I generally think are a waste of $$, I go for the words. I have been known to buy a card for the pics and frame it.
I usually only buy cards to send to special people that live in other cities. Most times I stamp a card and write the inside. Its so much more personal.
I visit Confessions of a Pioneer Woman http://www.thepioneerwoman.com daily
When looking at greeting cards, the picture always catches my eye first. Then I look at the words. If the picture isn’t appealing to me, I don’t even open it.
I visit knittersreview.com daily.
When it comes to a card I concentrate more on the caption that goes with the picture.
A website I visit daily is Blingo to search and win. Thanks for the giveaway!!
When I choose a greeting card, usually the words are equally as important as the picture. I don’t like generic words like “Winter Greetings” or something. I like heartfelt words.
I visit every day my Netvibe page – there is lot of interesting blogs (like this one here). I also visit my mailbox. And craftgossip and oneprettythings are also in my list every day
I visit Etsy.com and The reviewbroads.co daily. I just love to see all the beautiful handcrafted items (esp.seasonal items)!
As a teacher, words are very important to me. I don’t buy a card simply because the picture is cute. I definitely want the words to match the sentiment I want to express.
A website I visit daily is twitter.com
I think on a greeting card the image is more important…but maybe that’s because I prefer blank cards to write my own message π
I visit yahoo, facebook and blogger daily. I keep up with family via allof them.
I’ve been reading more than usual lately and have been visiting Bookin With Bingo. She has a lot of book reviews and book giveaways.
I definitely read the words. It helps to have a pretty picture but the words mean more to me.
That’s a STUNNING PENDANT Crystal!!! OMG, those crystals are so beautiful, and I love that bail too! You make such beautiful jewelry! … I’d have to say that I visit my etsy everyday, just to check things out. π Hugs, Paulette
Hi again! I love shopping for Christmas cards, and I can most certainly say that it’s the picture that gets me everytime! Of course it also has to have a sweet saying, but if I fall in love with the picture…it’s all good! Oh…and it really has to have sparkles too! Hugs, Paulette π
I visit Amazon.com daily.
Gorgeous!!
I visit Etsy.com every day.
To me, the picture is the most important–I can always add my own words, even if they aren’t as eloquent.
π
I visit daily Etsy Giveaways =)
When I choose a postcard is more important the words, but a good image also helps!
I visit Yahoo.com everyday
I would prefer making the card myself, rather than buying them. To me, the words are more important.
Name a website that you visit daily.
Other than yours? π CNN.com
When you choose a greeting card, which is more important to you β the words or the picture?
The words, the picture is just an addon.
Every day I go to jewelry.com to sign up to win their daily giveaway. I won a beautiful bracelet from them before.
The words are most important to me. It has to be just right.
Momdot.com is a blog that I visit daily.
The words in a card are more important to me.
The picture on the card is more important to me. I like to write from my heart.
A website I visit daily: Burdastyle.com
The picture is more important to me. Actually, I like a card without text, so I can handwrite my own. That’s more personal…
Lovely necklace! One site that I enjoy visiting daily is ~
bellesugar.com.
Thanks, Cindi
The words are more important to me when choosing a card to give
someone! They are speaking from my heart.
Thanks, Cindi
Well, obviously I visit Etsy every day. Half my friends are there! But you knew that.
A site I check EVERY day, that you might not know, is the Comics Curmudgeon, at joshreads.com. He makes fun of the newspaper comic strips, but he does it because he really enjoys them; there are all knds of in-jokes and a Curmudgeon Culture has built up over the years, making it, despite the name, one of the friendliest and most eloquent communities on the web. I feel off-footed if I don’t check in on them now!:D
I rarely buy cards; when I do, I absolutely go for picture over text. I prefer cards that say nothing, except maybe “thank you” or “Hello!”. As you might have guessed from, well, every comment I’ve ever left here ever, I have PLENTY of words on my own, and I resent having to share my word-space with a printed message!;)
Momgiveaways.com
The words are definitely what grabs me first. When it’s someone’s birthday for instance a husband. I have to go through all of the choices under that section before I pick my choice after reading all of them.
Carapace,
Please don’t ever stop leaving, as you say, “PLENTY of words”! π
yahoo.com
words!
Facebook, CNN, Yahoo, Google…
I visit daily site azet.sk
i choose greetings card ALWAYS by its picture. i prefer cards without words (and majority of cards are made without words in my country) so i can write something personal what i want to express.
A website I visit daily is Facebook! I’m addicted, haha!
And when I choose a greeting card, the words are definitely more important to me- I usually want to pick something that is sweet, maybe a little funny (depending on the situation) and not overly sappy or cheesy! Those are just too generic and fake-sounding!
