It’s probably no surprise that I love beading and beads but lately I’m really fascinated with all of the beautiful things people are making with paper and rubber stamps and those fancy paper punches that create lacey borders and assorted cut-out shapes!
Scrapbooking is lovely but time is always short, so I look for quicker projects like greeting cards and gift tags. I enjoy “variety” when I craft. Instead of being totally devoted to one craft form and making large projects in that medium, I tend to dabble in several craft categories and then try to complete small projects in each. For example, I wouldn’t make a quilt, but I would sew a small quilted ornament. But getting back to paper crafts . . . 😉
Recently, I found a great tutorial that I thought you might like so I’m including it below. You use those inexpensive little notepads that are sold 4 in a package. Add a decorative paper cover and you have something that’s absolutlely adorable! Perfect for small gifts, party favors, or just for you!
Thank you to Angie Kennedy Juda of ChicnScratch for the this fun project!
After you view Angie’s tutorial, click this photo to see the ones I made! 🙂
Thanks for sharing.
I used to be into scrapbooking and making all kinds of homemade things like this. I hope I can get back into it soon.
I did this type of thing briefly. Its ok, but I’d rather bead!!
Nice video…I’ll have to try this.
This is so cute! I want to do something like this for my wedding guest book instead of buying some frilly gaudy thing!
What a great video for a super easy and sweet craft…thanks!
