Greetings and welcome to the weekly giveaway!

Lots of great comments again last week! It was fun to hear which foods you could never give up. For me, it would have to be cheese, or potatoes, or “cheese potatoes”!! 😉

And, after reading about all of the hobbies and interests you have, I think I’m pretty lucky to have such an interesting and talented bunch of readers, too!

This week’s giveaway is a pair of earrings that are the color of a tropical sea.

These “Caribbean Carnival” earrings feature faceted Czech beads in a mouth-watering shade of teal blue/green. They have a matte metallic finish and I’ve accented them with Swarovski Jet-Metal Rondelle Spacers, which are set with Aurora Borealis Crystals.

Measurements: approximately 1-5/8″ long – including the 14k gold plated earwires

  1. Man Crys, do you think I can think back THAT far? You know, they invented TV when I was a kid!!

    OMGosh, when I was really young, my fav was Flash Gordon. I loved those space ships and Buster was a doll! (of course I also liked Howdy Doody). And during the day, I loved Dark Shadows. Give me those Vampires!

    On Sunday afternoons, I loved to watch WGN out of Chicago. They had the old movies…Singing in the Rain….Gentlemen Prefer Blondes…River of No Return.

    O, don’t let me forget Creature Feature…Saturday night spooky movies!!

    Thanks for the memories. That was when I ENJOYED TV.

  2. Hey, Crys…Forgot to tell you how beautiful this week’s giveaway is. My Favorite colors.

    The chore I hate the most…you won’t believe this but it truly is matching socks. Terry and I are easy. We both wear black and are very distinctively different. The boys wear white. Truly, I put them in a laundry basket when they come out of the drier, and ask one of the boys to sort their own. I ask them both to match their own mates. If they don’t, I dump them in the appropriate drawer. One way or another they either match their own, or wear mis matched socks. Do I care? lol
    AND I don’t feel guilty.

    If you knew me, you would know how hard this is for me to do. I am a “Every Draw Has Folded Clothes” person so a bunch of socks twisted together like a basket of snakes is hard for me to walk away from, but I force myself.

  5. Hehe, great question..brings back some memories.. I used to watch ‘Full house’, u know, with those Olsen twins:D Oh, I loved this show..yeah..great memories:) And their uncle Jessie was so cute;)

  6. oh man..I like actually household chores..I do. because I like when my home is clean and nice:) think I dislike washing dishes sometimes..when I feel lazy:D

  7. My favourite show as a younger kid was Little House on the Prairie. I loved the show and read all the books. As a little older kid it was Miami Vice! I love Sonny and Crocket!!

  8. Funny, the commenter before me hates laundry, but I love it. Well, in the good months, because I am a line-drying fanatic. I am out hanging my laundry before 9 AM! The job I like least is scrubbing baseboards, and boy do they need it!

  11. My favorite show growing up……I think that I liked different shows at different ages. =)
    I recall always loving the Peanuts and Claymation Holiday specials. In elementary school I loved “Scooby Doo”. I think that my favorite show as a teen was “Growing Pains”.

    My all time favorite TV show was Sky King with Penny and her uncle flying around. I have it on DVD now!! LOL!! I think I just dated myself. 😀

  14. What was your favorite TV show when you were growing up? My favorite would have to have been Rainbow Brite. I had all of the episodes on tape (VHS) and I would watch them over and over and over again!

  15. Which household chore do you dislike the most? Vacuuming! Far and away, vacuuming. I hate it. The second most hated one would be mopping. Ughhhhh.

  26. I would have to say I loved Saved by the Bell. My parents did not let me watch the show so I had to watch it behind their backs. I think about it now and realize it was not a big deal but I guess to them it was a big deal..go figure.

  27. i really hate ironing. that is the worst thing i can do but i cannot afford to just take everything to the dry cleaners so i have to suck it up every single week.

  31. Dishes -I hate doing the dishes. I would rather clean the potty then do the dishes. Whenever I can, I have my husband do them.

  43. Love the gorgeous earrings!! Teal and blue are among my favorite colors so these really appeal to me.
    So…my favorite TV show from my childhood?? That would probably be the Walt Disney Wonderful World of Color every Sunday night…followed by Bonanza!! I loved the variety of nature shows, cartoons, and Disney movies. We were glued to the TV after dinner!

  44. Household chore that I really hate is vacumming. YUCK! I hate dragging the vacuum out and moving furniture so I can clean around it!
