This week’s giveaway is a fun and flirty pair of dangle earrings in shimmering rose pink. The long linear style is both feminine and flattering to the face!
The vintage lucite beads have a gorgeous matte metallic sheen and a subtle texture on their surface!
Swarovski crystals in “girly-girl” rose pink serve as sparkling accents, and all findings are sterling silver, including the earwires.
The earrings measure approximately 2-1/4” from top to bottom.

Vogue is my favourite! Thanks for the chance!
I don’t throw anything!!!!hahahhahah I keep my cards in beautiful boxes in the garret.
First of all, most of the time I think store bought greeting cards are a waste of money. Sometimes though, the giver finds one that has a perfect sentiment meant just for me. I have some I received 40 years ago. Unfortunately they are kept in my desk in a hanging file with my name on it. Not very romantic. Then there are the funny ones that hit a nerve and I kept. Then there are the unusual….a 3 ft 1/2 naked man…card that I received back in the 80’s.
Of course we cant forget the cards that I loved the picture so much that I framed it. For a while, blue birds on a dogwood branch graced the wall in the bathroom. I have one framed forever that Terry gave me that are two dinasaurs whose necks form a heart that I received from my daughter in 93..mom and dad is indicted by each one.
One of my favorites that I framed is on the wall of my bedroom, which is accented in leopard print. Its a pic of two leopards with their heads together, very lovingly.
An I have the one framed in my office that I received that depicts me for sure. A kitty cat looking into a mirror and seeing himself as a lion!!
Well, you certainly have a way of drawing my life thoughts from me, Sis!
That life post used all my time. Give us a blog post about how you got into Vintage beads. I don’t make a lot of jewelry right now, but where do you find it and how do you know its Vintage?
o, so hard to say favorite mag..Bead Work and Bead and Button are the two I look forward to receiving and subscribe to. I receive a couple of Birding mags that I love, but the names escape me. Birder and Birding Digest is one. Not too big on the common womens mags. Mostly geared to the younger crowd and I don’t find much of interest in them.
The ones that attract my attention on the rack are usually nature or garden oriented.
Boring, huh!
I have two favorite magazines, 2G (international architecture review from Spain) and AU – Arquitetura e Urbanismo (from Brazil).
I have a drawer for cards. I keep them all since I was 7 years old.
Reader’s Digest!
I don’t throw away cards given to me. I keep them in a box so that I can see through whenever I have free time. To me, the cards are precious because each and every one of them is special in their own way.
My favorite magazine is Cooking Lite, they seriously have the best recipes!
I keep cards from always, I never throw them out. I think it’s because my parents never did either. I still have collections of cards from my 3rd birthday.
my favorite magazine is rachel ray. I would love to win this.
Id love to see more details written about where you find the materials you use.
I am soooooooo bad about keeping old cards. I always want to do something constructive with them and never do.
My favorite magazine is Quiltmaker. Thanks.
country sampler is my favorite
I read Woman’s Day and computer magazines.
I tend to lose cards on desks and find them months later. I usually look at them one last time then throw them out. I’m not good at making them into something else.
My favorite is Real Simple!
I always like learning new stringing techniques (wires, knots, string, etc).
I feel guilty, but I generally throw them out about a week after the holiday has passed. If it’s a photo card, it might stay on the fridge for a little longer. I’ve been on a major de-cluttering kick.
I like to read Womans Day
I keep all the cards I receive from my husband and kids in a drawer – the others I keep for awhile and then feel guilty when I throw them!
I’d like to know how you get all the ideas you use for your jewelry.
Love the earrings. They made me think of Spring. Your photo is about as close as I will get to it since I still have snow in my parts.
My favorite mag is Redbook.
I keep all my cards forever.
My favorite magazine is All You.
I just received my first issue of All You magazine and I have to say it is now my favorite. So many great coupons. Thank you!
I would like to know what type of jewelry teens like. I have a hard time buying for the older kids.
I keep my cards in a special box from family and close friends.
Right now because I am a first time mommy my favorite is American Baby. Lame I know 😉
Oh my, Crystal, my hubby, calls me the magazine junkie!! He says I subscribe to EVERY magazine under the sun!!) I HAVE become a bit more discerning in my old age (and a bit more tired–LOL!! so I don’t subscribe to as many as I used to!!…however, to just narrow it down to one?? That is going to be a hard one!! Let me ponder a bit…well, I guess I have a couple of faves. I love People Magazine (must admit–for my weekly gossip and stuff!!) Vanity Fair is another one that has a lot of good stuff month after month….and for fashion (not that I am AT all a fashion queen…but I would like to THINK that I could be..ha ha!!…I like Elle.
Geez…is my post long enough?? (All you wanted to know about my life and magazines and more… 🙂
I enjoy your blog so anything you post about is always enjoyable–the BEST posts are always things that YOU are interested in or things that inspire or give you joy…so that is my best advice!
Oh, I am a pack rack–and extremely sentimental. I keep EVERYTHING that someone gives (although I don’t keep EVERY single Christmas card–just the ones that are from good friends and family–obviously I am not going to keep the one from the Sparkletts guy, etc–sorry!!) So, yes, I do keep all of my birthday cards and most of the Christmas cards.
Where do I keep them?? Well, I have this organizer that we keep all of the bills and I have this little section that says personal stuff and I just file it under that–so if I ever want to pull my cards for a particular year…I just go to that box and OUILA!! So, far..it has worked for me.
My favorite magazine is Newsweek.
I put my cards in a file folder. I keep all my birthday cards, but I only keep Christmas cards that have a letter or personal message.
I like Redbook.
I like Oprah magazine.
Thank you!
I would love posts about beading.
I keep them for a couple of months and then I recycle them into postcards.
My favorite magazine is O.
I keep my cards forever. I never throw them out.
