Giveaway – Midnight in Moscow Earrings — 76 Comments

  1. A necklace that my boyfriend gave to me on the day he asked me to be his girlfriend, that his father gave to him for his 15th birthday. He wore that necklace everyday until he was 25 and took it off and gave it to me.

  2. I buy a lot of my clothes at resale shops so I guess I would have to say lots of low cost clothes.

  3. This week’s prize is beautiful!!

What perfume, huh? Well, I have alergies so I don’t have many choices. My nose determines what I can wear. Its a curse for sure. I smell the least little odor anywhere and have everyone sniffing around to find it!

I love Channel #5 and Shalimar. HOWEVER. Since I take a bath in perfume, I always, always wear Taboo. I love its’ just the right spicy blend. Then I overspray just a little Vanilla Fantasy.

And I like Navy, with that same Vanilla spray as a kicker!

And in the summer I like Windsong.

  4. Most prized possession? I love my Singer steamer and Viking sewing machine. But they are not actually “prized”. I must be weird because I am thinking what would I save first if I had to evacuate. Can’t think of anything that’s that important to me. Once you take away Terry, the kids and my dogs, there’s not much else I cherish. Yep, I’m weird for sure.

  5. Well, I would buy LOTS of less expensive things. I don’t care much about what is in style. But when I find an item that fits well and the colors are right I buy one in every color. Like t-shirts they sold at Walmart 3 years ago. This year’s model is gathered at the neck with puffy sleeves. Nope, not buying not even one. Same way with jeans. If I find a pair that fit well, I buy 6 pairs. I just did that. Lucky because my Route 66 from K-Mart that I bought 8 years ago are just about at the end of the line.

I am lucky that I can wear jeans to work, but I try to dress it up alittle, but not much. My office is off the machine shop and I am in the shop often. Lots of gunk out there!!

  6. i definitely prefer to buy one pricier thing that i can wear forever than lots of cheap stuff.

  7. my most prized possession would have to be…

my mooche. it’s a beanie baby monkey that i used to carry around forever. i first got him when we thought i had a brain tumor. he’s a very special monkey.

  8. i definitely prefer to buy one expensive item that will last for years, but i’m so frugal that that hardly ever happens.

  9. Hi! Lancome’s Tresor is my favorite fragrance. Thanks for the chance to win your lovely earrings. Cindi

  10. Our two dogs are my most treasured possession ( although they are part of our family )! Our generations of family pictures are my most treasured possession. Many thanks, Cindi

  11. I prefer to purchase one pricey piece of clothing that will last and go with a lot over several cheaper pieces. Thanks, Cindi

  12. my favorite would be the scrapbook my boyfriend made for me for valentines day full of pictures of us and other things that reminded him of me and our relationship

  13. i tend to buy expenisve things that are classics and will last for a long time and buy trendy inexpensive things to mix in

  14. My most prized possesion is a silver coin, which is inherited from my grandmother. It was made in the 1970’s, and it’s a limited edition coin. I treasure it because I believe that it’s my responsibility to keep this precious coin in good condition.

  15. I just LOVE Calvin Klein’s Eternity! After trying different scents off and on, I always com back to it.

  16. The clothing question is very interesting…as I’ve recently adopted a new philosophy. I used to be the bargain hunter…and wound up with closets full of clothes I do NOT wear. So now I believe that less is more. I would rather buy just a few things here and there…that are environmentally responsible (and usually more expensive). But they last and last…and they are items that I TRULY want.

  17. I commented (and left you a few tips) on the “That’s Progress…I guess” blog post from Feb. 17. Check it out…the sites I listed might come in handy!
    Thanks :o)

  18. Clothes? I wish I could be practical but tend to be trendy and get bored easily, then off to the mall! I do have that favorite jacket and sweater I hold onto for years though.

  19. My most prized possession is my wedding ring which I had to have cut off because of my arthritis but I still love it…

  20. I tend to buy things that don’t cost as much rather than pricey pieces which are supposed to last for years because I have a hard time really seeing that supposed “classic” pieces stay that way…

  21. I’m baaaack!

…And not really into perfumes. If it has a cool bottle design, I’m in! – Interesting packaging always makes a great gift. (Of course, the packaging SHOULD have something in it…)
