Giveaway – Emerald Seas Pendant

In appreciation of all of the wonderful comments that you are leaving here on the blog, I’m going to continue the “giveaways”! 🙂

Here’s a beautiful pendant which features an artisan-crafted lampwork glass bead as its focal point.

The bead has glass ribbons of emerald green and royal ocean blue swirling through its center, and it’s encased in clear glass – to add a touch of glossy shine!

The pendant is accented with emerald-colored Swarovski crystals and gorgeous sterling Bali bead caps. All of the metal components are sterling silver ! The bail is a generous size and should fit on most of the chains that you own. Or maybe you have a black cord, or you’ll buy a piece of satin ribbon and wear it high on the neck for a look that is trés chic!

Giveaway – Emerald Seas Pendant — 91 Comments

  1. I seem to always be saying “you have to admit its true”. My daughter just pointed that out to me.

  2. a perfect day for me would be spending time with my honey and kicking back and relaxing at home. i don’t get to do that very often!

  3. my favourite saying is “treat others the way you’d like to be treated”. yes, it’s very common but a lot of people don’t think like that and it’s so true to life!

  4. my favourite snack is clementines. i always try to eat healthy and right now i have a million clementines in my house. yum!

  5. How to make a perfect day? That’s like asking how to make a perfect meal. There’s no such thing as A perfect day, I think; I’ve had perfect days in the freezing cold with a cat on my feet, and in the summer sun with my shoulders turning beet red and my hair turning green from the pool, and in a perfectly ordinary spring day spent waiting for the bus. What made those days stand out was the light, the smells, the unusual sharp awareness of the air on my skin. Every day is perfect; but only once in a while am I in the perfect mood to see it.

  6. My most common saying, inherited from my mother;):

“Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!”

A good saying, and one that has saved me much trouble. And unfortunately, makes me a bit of a pack rat. Ah well!

  7. The best snack ever– or the worst– is cheap artifical cheeze-based queso and tortilla chips. Utterly unredeemable, utterly addictive.

  8. a perfect day, sunshine, good friends and a glass of wine
saying – public behavior, family behavior
snack – a big bowl of buttery homemade popcorn, not microwave

    Love the charm……….Lesli

  9. My idea of a perfect day is one without pain. I suffer from chronic pain for the last 4 years and I pray for it to be healed.

  10. I really enjoy visiting my family and my perfect day is going to my favorite store The Village Herb Shop with my mom,and then having lunch somewhere. That night i would meet up with a friend that i haven’t seen in a while and having a couple drinks:)

  11. When i was a little girl my grandma had a little saying that always made me laugh.. I wonder if anyone else has heard this…..

Oh Dear Bread and Beer, If i wasn’t married i wouldn’t be here!!
(My grandparents have been together for 63 years ,so i guess she is happy that she is there!!:))

  12. I like veggies and dip . I usually use cottage cheese in dip recipes instead of sour cream or Mayo:)

  13. My perfect day is a day with no housework that needs to be done. It doesn’t happen often.

  14. Oh, this is so lovely!

A perfect day for me, would be just having the time to curl up in a chair by the fireplace and lose myself in a good book for a while. No kids fighting, no rushing off to do this or that, just me, the fireplace, and a novel. =)

  15. Favourite saying: You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.

  16. And last but not least, my favourite snack is Hershey’s Bliss chocolates. Milk chocolate with raspberry centres.

  17. My perfect day is one when I wake up at the beach and have the whole day in front of me to enjoy beautiful weather and great friends.

  18. The saying I always use: The more, the merrier. Plenty of family confusion is usually what I’m referring to when I say it!

  19. My favorite snack is turkey pepperoni if I want to stay within my points. But if I really want a tasty, decadent snack, it would be fudge! Creamy, chocolaty fudge. mmmmmmmmmmm.

  20. “Necessity is the mother of invention” was always a favorite quote around the house when I was growing up. That made us very creative when we needed something that we didn’t have.

  21. My perfect day would be to have all of my family together in a large log cabin in the snowy mountains. There would be a huge fireplace in the middle of the great room and we’d all be taking pictures and talking and eating dinner made by Alton Brown and everyone would have a cozy room upstairs for the night. The little kids would be in their jammies and we’d all have hot chocolate and toddies and watch the snow fall. We’d have karaoke for entertainment and would roast marshmallows over the fire. Then, as an added bonus, Josh Groban would drop by and sing our favorite songs just for us. We’d invite him to stay the night, and of course, he does. The next morning, we’d all wake up to breakfast made by Paula Deen.

  22. A perfect day for me would be one where I could relax and spend time with family without having to worry about money or expenses-kind of like a free day at the amusement park without having to worry about how much we end up spending 🙂

  23. When someone just doesn’t get it and I’ve explained what they need to do for the upteenth time and they STILL don’t get it… or they are just totally whacked out during their appt. with us…I will tell my coworkers they were a few fries short of a Happy Meal.. (and yes, I have my OWN days like this when nothing seems to sink in either!)

  24. favorite day: I love to go new places, a lot of people hate the car ride on vacation.. but I love it. I like new scenery and new communities. I think my perfect day would be a car ride with my husband ending with a destination to the beach to paint and draw.

  25. Perfect day – no children having meltdowns, no adults having petty arguments and plenty of Lindor Truffles!

  26. saying – You can do anything you set your mind to! My mom drove me crazy with that one while growing up, but I guess she’s right.
