Another week has flown by, Kids!

For this week’s Friday Favorites, I have . . .

a darling vintage illustration – to make us smile,

and a great quote – to make us think! ๐Ÿ˜‰

German Proverb

“Who has never tasted what is bitter does not know what is sweet.โ€

  1. I hope you have a sweet weekend too. Kouga dog and I will be attending both Bark in the Park and Petfest. I’m sure we will have a great time.

  2. Sweet pic!
Have a great weekend. Will be sunny and nice here and I am leaving work today as soon as I can which should be about noon. Then I am doing the errands that I would have to do tomorrow so tomorrow I will be outside playing in the dirt! Don’t bother to call me anybody…I will be in the dirt….I will be communicating with the birds that are fighting over nest boxes and with the frogs that are so happy to live in my pond. They seranade me every night.

I’m so happy I can play in the dirt!!

Have a great do whatever you want to do weekend everyone!
    Just a word..try dirt.
    Carol

  3. Hee hee Carol

OK. I am going to picture you as the kid (in Charlie Brown) who has little clouds of dirt flying off of him whenever he moves! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Have fun!!!
    Hugs, Crystal

  4. Happy Friday Crystal!

That’s an adorable picture…and I really like that quote too.

…Boy, Carol makes me want to go out and play in the dirt too!

    Have a fun weekend, Sweetie!

  5. i love your sweet illustration……..those wooden shoes always remind me of my little dutch boy (don’t worry, he doesn’t wear them….they just remind me of him!!!). have yourself a super weekend, sweet crystal!! xox, :))

  6. We are storming here! Good day to stay inside and bead!

I love that illustration. The lil’ Dutch kids are so cute. When I was little my mom would admonish us to say we were Dutch, not German, lol…everyone loves the DUTCH. The Deutsch, not so much!

May your weekend be full of interesting beads!!!

  7. Love the Dutch children…
It is so true in life that we don’t know what bitter is, without sweet.
Also, I believe we don’t happiness without some sadness.
    Thanks, Cindi
