Today I have a very yummy pair of earrings in an absolutely beautiful raspberry pink. They’re bold and showy and sure to attract attention.

BerriesBloomEars

I’ve used vintage Moonglow Lucite ovals, and gorgeous dimensional flower blossom glass beads – also vintage! Swarovski aurora borealis crystals serve as sparkling accents! The earrings measure just over 2-1/4″, including the Sterling Silver artisan-crafted earwires.

Contest Rules and How To Enter

Any day you leave a comment on this blog – it is counted as a chance to enter that week’s giveaway.

For example, if you answer today’s question (you’ll find it below!) that will give you one chance.

But if you then come back another day this week and comment on a different post – you will have earned another chance in this week’s giveaway!

When you comment you do not have to mention that it’s an entry in the giveaway. My blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them, and all will count and be entered into the drawing! 😀

Today’s question is:

Pretend that you’ve just won a free trip to anywhere! You may take family or friends with you! Where are you going to go?

Giveaway – Berries in Bloom Earrings — 57 Comments

  1. My trip would be one that my hubby has dreamed about for YEARS. He wants to go to California to be on The Price Is Right show. We would start from the East coast (say NY) traveling by train (Amtrak) and pick up relatives and friends as we made our way West. All the train cars would be reserved for Hubby’s Trip. Once there, assuming his name was called, everyone would cheer him on and hoped he won his showcase. Now, that would be something!!

  2. Your designs are SO cute!!

Well, I am pretty much a homebody, in that I have no desire to leave the country, even in pretend. I just can’t move myself to ponder far away places. But, I would love to win a trip to tour the badlands and Grand Canyon. I want to see Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse monument. I want to look down on the Snake River. I want to be where bison and Indians once lived. Then I just want to keep going and see the whole entire US. I can’t think of one area that would not be interesting.
    XX, Carol

  3. Anywhere! Well how about everywhere! I would got to the US to visit my family, I would go to Alaska (always wanted to go there), Visit Paris again! oh I could go on all night! Wouldn’t it be wonderful!

  4. I would love to go Disney world with my entire family! I have never been there and always wanted to go! xo

  5. I have always wanted to go into space but I wouldn’t choose that place to take my family – too dangerous and risky. So I would choose Disneyland – I’d love to watch my grandkids’ faces when they go on rides! I love the Energy exhibit with the dinosaurs – I’d love to watch their little faces as those huge dinosaurs hover over them.

  6. oooh Crystal, these are sooo pretty! I really like that color and I always like some sparkle! Beautiful!!

You know what my dream vacation would be? …sort of on the same lines as Carol’s. I’d rent one of those big bus/camper thingys that the celebrities have, go north a bit, and then cross country…and it would be in late autumn. We’d stop to see everything and anything…of course time would not be an issue either…on a dream vacation! Maybe stay at a few really nice, old painted lady B&Bs too!… I’m playing Lotto this Wednesday! hee hee hee!

    xoxo Paulette 😉

  7. I would whisk away my family members and friends to a castle in Ireland!
The castle would be complete with house servants to take care of our every need, beautiful gardens to walk in, a play area for children, etc.
    Thanks, Cindi

  8. Ooh definitely Hawaii. I’ve never been there. My husband and I have been talking about going for a few years now, but just haven’t made it happen yet.

  9. I’d love to take a trip down the east coast visiting all the fun historic sites along the way! My husband and I never got a honeymoon so that is our dream.

  10. I would take a Mediterranean Cruise! Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Malta, Morocco….

  11. I want to tour China with my best friend; she’s Chinese, and for years she’s wanted to show me her home country, and I’ve wanted to see it, and to improve my Mandarin!

  12. My husband and I would go on a Mediterranean cruise to Greece, Italy, Turkey, and Crete or Croatia. A nice, long cruise. I need a vacation and we’ve always wanted to go to that part of the world. 🙂

  13. I would go on a trip around Eastern Europe with my boyfriend. Not sure exactly which countries, but the Czech Republic, Serbia, and Croatia would have to be included.

  14. I would go back to Switzerland and visit the mountains. I’ve heard that they look exactly the same as in the pictures. Then I would get as much chocolate as possible.

  15. I would want to go somewhere warm!! I would like to go to an exclusive beach where there is no one else around.

  16. Hi! I would love to go to Hawaii. I would like to see the volcanoes there and see the beautiful flowers and wildlife. Go to a luau and have some fun. It would be perfect. 🙂

  17. I would travel to a tropical island with my husband and three children, on a private jet. We would have perfect weather and my kids wouldn’t argue once during our trip. We would never sunburn and yet would likewise, never have to apply sunscreen. And my swimsuit would make me look thin! A girl can dream…

  18. My trip would be to manhatan to visit some dear friends I would take my sister ,boyfriend and best friends…we would catch up on old times and do some sight seeing have a great time. Thanks Marian

  19. I’d love to go to Finland but I’d have to wait ’till May or June in order to see those white nights when the sun never sets. It will be like a fairytale!

  20. My husband and I would go to Australia for a cruise and inland tour–we’re saving up for this dream trip, someday!

Thanks for the chance to win!

    –Liza

  21. Great giveaway!

I’d like to go — once again — to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. What a wonderful place!

    Please count me in. Thanks.

  22. You know I love your giveaways, not only for what you give away, but also to answer your question. So I’d pick my DD and DB and we’d fly on some island under the sun. I’d probably pick some books, some music, my sewing machine and some fabric too. Alternating sewing outdoors by the sound of my favorite music and the sea and playing with my DD and DB, how cool’d that be?

  23. I would go back to China. I lived there for a year and made some amazing friends. But, I haven’t been able to afford to go back and I miss them!

  24. i love answering your questions! 🙂

i’d want to explore macchu picchu – it’s just so fascinating! i’d want a full tour to learn about the history, and to take pictures of the lovely lovely landscape. 🙂

  25. You know, I think the problem is that I don’t really want to Tourist Trip anywhere in particular, except in my own home state, and that’s more “Something I’ll do this weekend” than a dream trip. I want to live and work in a place for a while, if I’m going to be there anyway. Do an artist’s retreat type thing, spend a month studying local art and landscapes, absorb something new and different, you know?

So I think, this week, I’d like to go to India. But I don’t know where. Some small village, big enough to have a temple or two, a good market or two, some local street culture, but not famous or big enough to draw massive quantities of tourists. And then I want to just paint the light, and sketch the walls and the faces and the weird bugs, and eat nothing but local food and have no climate control except maybe a fan, and generally fry my synapses on New Input.

And then come home and sleep for about three days. That sounds fantastic.

  26. I’d love to take my family to Paris! Spend time seeing all the old sights… and go to Disney too! 🙂

  27. Tokyo, Japan! Been there once when I was 15, but I really really wanna go back with family. Food is great, fashion is amazing, and the sights are breathtaking!

  28. I’m sending them and I’m still opting for the closet. It just won’t be quiet…..Just kidding. I would go somewhere warm, don’t know but I’ve waited so long that my body has changed so much since I last went away (before kids) that the beach would no longer welcome me

  29. I’m headed to Scotland! I read a series of books that took place in Scotland and fell in love with the land and the accent – yes, I can read in an accent LOL. I doubt I’ll ever go….hubby’s dream is Hawaii….I can’t wear a swim suit, so I have no purpose there! 😛

  30. This is very simple. I would take my family back to Manchester England to visit our family over there. It’s not easy to travel that far with toddler, and the flight prices are SO high right now. If we could see our family we would be so HAPPY!

  31. i would go take my whole family to the holy land and egypt following the footsteps of Jesus. great place to go for this Easter season!
