Greetings! 🙂
First I’d like to say a great big “thank you” for all of last week’s clever, thought provoking, and sometimes hilarious comments. You really outdid yourselves. I loved reading each and every one!
Here in New England, we finally had a little snow this weekend. The timing seemed perfect too! Sir Beads and I attended his company Christmas party on Saturday night. Just as we left to return home, we saw that the snow was falling softly all around us. The combination of the holiday party with the blanket of snow and the beautifully frosted tree branches really put us in the mood for Christmas. 🙂
But in case you’re dreaming of a warm vacation around now, this week’s giveaway is a pair of earrings that are the color of a tropical sea.
These “Tropical Seas” earrings feature faceted Czech beads in a lovely shade of teal blue/green. They have a matte metallic finish and I’ve accented them with Swarovski Jet-Metal Rondelle Spacers, which are set with Aurora Borealis Crystals. They measure approximately 1-5/8 inches long – including the 14k gold plated earwires

I don’t get the “Twilight” hype!
I’d be a beauty editor! Who wouldnt want to try all those great new products?
People right now are REALLY into Tiger Woods. I don’t think what he’s doing is right, per se. But I am sick of hearing about it
I think I should have been a research scientist or a genetisist. I love details and searching out things….all the tedious stuff.
Yeah, I hate the Twilight stuff too….or any ‘wow’ factor people give to movies. I also don’t care for cell phones and all the newer ones iphones etc….so much easier to live without being connected 24/7. My kids are cemented to theirs….
I would be a chocolate taste tester!
I’m sorry, but I’m not into Twitter!
I would be a famous photographer… I’d be the next Annie Leibowitz! Photograph the Queen, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding, Angelina’s next baby photos… that would be Amazing!!
The Ugg boots are apparently the “in” thing right now… I think they are hideous! I do not get the point… so NOT into them!
Subscribed via google reader!
i would love to work at the local university as the international student exchange adviser.. i would love helping people go abroad as it was such an amazing experience for me!
i don’t get the jonas brothers and miley cyrus.. is it cuz i am old???
I would be the proud owner of a small, private bookshop or an artist.
The in thing(s) I don’t quite get overlap with some of the earlier posts: I don’t get the Twilight craze. Read and finished all the books, but don’t get why they’re enjoying such lasting popularity.
I also don’t get twitter.
I’m not into uggs, twitter, twilight or CROCS. I will never understand. I dont care how comfortable they are, they are ugly. Almost as big of a mistake as parachute pants. lol
I would be a rock star!!! My husband and I met playing in a band together…then we started our family:)
I cannot wrap my head around the Jon and Kate deal. Who cares? I know they had a reality show and all that, but REALLY…who cares?!?
I would love to be an astronaut– there is something about the fact that they see the moon and earth that I find so fascinating!! Great Question!!
I think that Twilight is not that big a deal!! Although I have not read the books or seen the movie.
If I could be anything, I’d be a psychologist. I’m a non-profit therapist right now, but I’d like to be one notch up and be able to help more needy kids.
I’m really into hiking right now. Wish the weather in sunny so-cal was sunny. although I love the rain too!
If I could have any job, I would be a freelance web designer and/or graphic designer. It’s my failed dream 🙂
I’m really, really not into the whole celebrity culture. I find it really annoying that people want to know everything that is going on with each big celebrity.. what they ate, who they’re dating, what plastic surgery they’ve had.. ugh.. its all such useless, pointless information!
I’m subscribed to your blog!
Oh, you always ask the best questions! Ok, seriously? I want to be a clinical social worker. I want to both do the client-work of helping out people, and do some sociological research work. I’ve done the undegreed version of both, and it’s fascinating!
I’d say “artist”, but that’s just something I’m gonna do, job or not…
And of course I’m all subscribed and stuff!:D
I would love to be a historian! I love history.. but I need to support my (future) family.
I don’t get Zhu Zhu pets… granted it’s for kids, but still. They look like demonic zombie hamsters.
I’m presently doing my dream job…teaching 7 year old kids to read if they’re struggling. It’s very rewarding 🙂
I wish I was a nurse. I would love taking care of children and older folks.
I am really mistified at “tweeting”. Do I really need to know what someone is doing every minute? I don’t think so.
If I could be anything. . . I would be a full-time homemaker and mom. Which I am. And which I often forget to be grateful for. Unfortunately, I do NOT “have all the skills and qualifications needed” – there’s a lot of on-the-job training. 🙂
Those are gorgeous. They would be perfect for my younger sister. My dream job would definitely be owning the kind of bookstore that Meg Ryan had in the beginning of You’ve Got Mail. Mom & Pop where you had cozy reading spots, knew every customer and had recommendations of the perfect book for everyone. Sigh…
I have to say my daughter who just turned 13 asked me if she could skip school on Monday to go to a Justin Bieber concert. I think I looked at the poor child like she had 2 heads. If, like me, you have no idea who that is, you should google him, just for the grins.
Oh my. Subscribed as Temeculamom via google reader.
I actually have my dream job. I am a special ed teacher and love my kiddos! It is a challenging job but it keeps me on my toes.
I am so not into the gossip of celebrities. Who cares what they are doing. I am way to busy to worry about whether Tiger Woods is cheating or not.

My dream job would be a successful actuary!
I’d be a dolmecer. A translator, you know? It’d be fun to be a translator at the UNO or at the White House (or dangerous, since a translation mistake could become a diplomatic incident) or make any job that involves A LOT of travelling around the world.
Fashionwise, everybody is into purple, leggins or pants in boots. Don’t really dig any of it…
I would love to be a travel tour leader in Botswana.
I dont get the whole rage with Twilight.
I subscribed to the feeds.
I would be a ballerina!! My dream job has never changed since I was a little girl.
The uggs are in. I don’t get them at all.
Any job… I’d love for a day to be a cement pourer. I’m sure your thinking, “okay…wacko”, but you have to understand the standing joke we have in our family regarding this.
Something people are currently into but not a big deal?
