Hi there and welcome to my weekly giveaway!
As usual, there were many wonderful comments last week. I’ve said it before, but I really appreciate your warm and thoughtful words. . .
And talk about a great sense of humor – you often have me grinning – if not laughing out loud! Thank you! 😀
For this week’s giveaway, I have a pair of earrings called, “Poseidon’s Gift”.
The earrings feature Czech baroque-shaped glass beads in swirling shades of blues, pinks and greens that are encased in clear glass – so very lovely! I’ve embellished the beads with Swarovski crystals in one of their newest colors, “Air Blue Opal”, which has a gorgeous iridescent quality!
For pierced ears, the earrings measure 1-5/8 inches in length including the sterling silver earwires.

My favorite birthday memory was definitely my 21st. It wasn’t the normal crazy drunk 21st birthday- instead, I spent it at the Virginia Jefferson Jackson dinner. It was THE state political event of the year, and as a political science major, I was thrilled at the chance to attend. The governor (who I had helped get elected) spoke, as well as both Obama and Hillary. It rocked!
I sometimes like frosting roses. I don’t like the soft kind that are just like the frosting on the rest of the cake, but I love the hard kind that are just like sugar.
One winter (my birthday is in Feb.) we all ice skated on my pond. It was a lot of fun.
I like frosting roses only on dark chocolate cakes, otherwise no.
My favorite birthday was when my grandma would make me any flavor cake I would want. She made wedding cakes and did such a wonderful job.
i like the frosting roses
I have more than one favorite b-day memory. One is when my grandma set up a birthday. I looked around and didn’t know most of the kids there. I didn’t know what to say.
