Greetings everyone!
Welcome to week eleven of the Monday Giveaways. Many of you have written to say that you’re having lots of fun with the giveaway questions. Me too! 🙂 I’ll be sure to keep ’em coming.
Your thoughtful, sweet, and sometimes hilarious answers are all very much appreciated. Please stop back during the week, when you can. You’ll find a variety of topics and, as always, I love hearing your comments and suggestions.
This week’s giveaway is a beautiful crystal pendant!
This delicate pendant features sparkling Swarovski crystals in luscious shades of lilac purple – with a gorgeous ‘butterfly’ shaped crystal as the focal point.
Perfect to remind you that Spring will be here, eventually!
It will, right? . . . RIGHT??? 😉
The generous bail is sterling silver and should fit many of the chains that you already own. Or, maybe you’ll place it on a silk or leather cord, or a piece of velvet ribbon for a look that’s trés chic! The Pendant measures 1-1/4″ long, including the bail.
Contest Rules and How To Enter:
1. Leave a comment that answers the question: If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? That will give you one chance to win.
2. For a second chance to win, leave a second comment that answers the question: What’s one thing you own too many of?
3. For a third chance to win, leave a comment that describes something nice that someone did for you – either recently or long ago – but something that really touched your heart.
**You can choose any one or all of the above chances to enter.**
A valid email address must be given at time of entry. You must be 18 yrs. old. The name of the winner will be added to this post after the completion of the contest and the winner will be notified by email. The prize will be sent by USPS First Class Mail. If no valid email address is given at time of entry, or if winner fails to respond to email within 3 days from the time notification email has been sent, the win will be null and void and a new winner will be chosen.
All entries must be received by 10:00 p.m. EST on 01/25/09, and the winner will be selected on or about 01/26/09.
Thanks for participating and Good Luck to all!
The contest is closed.
The winner is Judy. Congratulations Judy! Please check your email. I will be contacting you for your shipping address.

When my husband and I went on vacation, my friend’s mom (we call her our adopted mom) came over and house sat (really she watched our “baby/kitty) for us. She was SO wonderful. Not only did she take wonderful care of our kitty and our home…but our home was the CLEANEST it has EVER been!! And she had lasanga ready to be popped in the microwave (and she had done a little shopping so we had fresh milk and some other stuff that first day!!) Also, my friend and her mom had put up a Welcome Home Banner in our garage so we saw it as soon as we came home.
We were just so touched. Of course, now we are spoiled. Who is EVER going to TOP that?? LOL!!

i have a love for baking and i always feel like my baking isn’t appreciated. so on a whim i baked a batch of pecan sandies and packed up 80% of them to my fiance’s grandma. and by the time we returned from doing her grocery shopping (we take care of all her errands every saturday) i ws greeted with RAVE reviews of the cookies. she INSISTED i make them again and offered to buy the ingredients.
its something as small and simple as a compliment on my baked goodies, but it certainly warmed my heart after feeling no appreciation for my kind gestures.
