Suddenly, the summer seems to be flying! I’ve decided not to be too sad about that though, because I love the autumn! 😀

This weeks giveaway is a pair of earrings made with very unusual and very beautiful Vintage Lucite beads. They have a subtle texture and a matte metallic sheen on their surface. The color is a breath-taking shade of AQUA – it looks icy cool!

I‘ve accented the vintage beads with Swarovski crystals in a gorgeous shade of teal blue called indicolite.

For pierced ears, the earrings measure 1-3/4 inches in length, including the sterling silver earwires.

  3. The earrings are great as usual! Beautiful.

    My favorite dressing is what Macy’s puts on their Florida Chicken Salad. Its kind of an oriental/orange dressing. Luckily they sold a cookbook with the recipe in it.

    Which brings back fond memories of Christmas Shopping trips to Chicago and lunch under the huge Christmas tree. My daughter and I always bought seats on the bus trip every year which was a fund raiser for the school. It is so much easier than taking the train or driving. We always ate lunch at Macy’s. When we travel there any other time of the year we would eat at Applebees near the Art Museum down town. We are planning a trip soon to China Town, but I bet I’ll be eating there!

  4. I am an all day person. I just have different things I like to do at different times of the day. I like to get going early. Check the computer then do any housework that needs to be done, work in the garden, then wind down with beading at night.

    Of course on the days I work, it really doesn’t make a difference. A woman’s gotta do what a womans gotta do!

    1000 Island. I dont know why…but my dad has always loved it, and so I guess I got it fromhim… ^_^

    I am defo a morning person. I wake up quickly, mostly, and jump out of bed to start my day. Most days, I wake up in a good mood, too. ^_^

  10. I am probably a night person. Unfortunately I have to get up early with my daughter and drag a bit and start to pep up later in the day and then stay up later then everyone else in the house.

  11. This year my favorite dressing is Vadalia. I’ll use it all year and then try something different for next year….

  22. I eat a lot of salad being a vegetarian my favourites are ceasar,ranch and italian but my no.1 is probably ceasar salad dressing. I love the earring and my fingers are crossed that I win beautiful giveaway. Marian

  24. I am a morning person – everyday! I don’t wish it were different for me but I do wish my hubby was less of a grouch when he wakes us.

  25. If you’re asking just about salad dressing, I’d have to go with thousand island. I’m generally not a big salad-eater, but I’ll sometimes have raw cauliflower as a snack with some thousand island. If I do have a full-on salad, I go for caesar. Neither of these dressings are at all healthy, so I try to limit my intake of them.

  26. I am most definitely a night person and I don’t think I’d have it any other way. Everything is so much quieter at night, I feel like I can think better and really get lost in my projects or work.

    I love different kinds of ranch- my homemade garlic ranch , or store-bought cucumber ranch, bacon ranch, salsa ranch, etc., etc., etc!
