Have to think about that crayon question. What color WOULD I be, or WOULD I WANT TO BE, that is the question.
As my grandson likes to tell me, I think too deep. My first thought is that I would be gray. Not too colorful, muted, a lost in the crowd kind of color. My perception of myself.
But in reality I am not gray at all. I WOULD be a shade of pastel blue/aqua because I am a calming force. I don’t like friction. I am the mediator.
I WANT to be the most vivid shade of coral there could ever be. Picture the most beautiful shade that coral geraniums could be and that would be me. Geraniums are always the most electrifying shades from pink through red. I’d be happy to be any one of them.
Wonder what a psychologist would say about that comment.
Something funny happened to me yesterday – I went out to check the mail even though it was Sunday!
If I was a crayon I would be Tickle Me Pink!
Something funny… well the other day I was barbecuing for my entire family and I crouched down to pick something up and my shorts split open. It wasn’t funny for me, though lol
Thank you!
I WOULD BE PERIWINKLE! I love everything about periwinkle. I love the colour, I love the name… periwinkle is awesome!
Thank you!
Hi!
Something funny…hmm…
Once I was sitting outside with my friends sipping starbucks
after play rehearsal and it was rather early in the morning mind you (or very late depending on how you see it) and the street sweepers drove up and asked us if we wanted to ride in their truck to WalMart! What in the world!? We had to politely decline..
If I were a crayon…I’d be tickle me pink. I’m incredibly ticklish…!
There’s a little boy in my apartment complex who I keep trying to make friends with, but he’s always very solemn when I’m around. Then when I leave he gets a big smile on his face and shouts “bye bye” gleefully! There’s an ego boost, I tell ya!
If I were a color I would be celadon green; calm and peaceful!
If I were a crayon i’d be red because red is my favourite color. I love red roses, red apples, red rosy cheeks, red hearts, etc.Fabulous contest.Marian

My husband is from another country. We had lived in his country for three years and then moved to the States. He was still mastering his English. He is always proud of me when I make cakes from scratch. When we had people over once, I made a cake and he proudly announced to the whole group, “You must all try this delicious cake! My dear wife made it from crap!” He meant scratch! Very embarrassing!
If I could be any color, it would be sky blue. Calm as can be. Thank you!
My sister is 10 years older than me and she married young!
I was like a nanny/aunt to their two daughters. Many times, I traveled
with them. During one trip, the “Falling Rock” signs were everywhere!
Carol; my sister and John; her husband, told me that It was a Native
American and I was to watch to see if I could spot him. Was I
naive or what?!!!!!! Thanks, Cindi
“BLUE!” A happy blue, like the sky, ocean, etc.
Thanks, Cindi
Something funny that’s happened to me:
well, just today,
three coworkers of mine coincidentally matched outfits. they all wore lime green tops and two of them wore white pants! There was no planning whatsoever, just chance. it was kind of funny.
If i were a crayon, I’d be burnt orange. i can either blend in or stand out, according to my mood!
If I were a crayon I would be red simply because I love the color red ( :
i would be a violet crayon! i love that color!
my funny story…when i was a kid my mom, dad and i went on a summer vacation. while my dad was driving my mom got a snack, banana’s for us all. she gave my dad his, gave me mine and then she opened her’s. as she leaned down to take a bite my dad through his peel – he was done – out her window. the peel promptly wrapped around my moms banana and took it out with it! so as my mom leaned down to take a bite – her first – her banana was gone! she was left with just the peel in her hand! that was the last banana we had in the car!!! this happened over 30+ years ago and i still remember it to this day. my dad laughed so hard he had to pull over!!
I almost forgot to come back and look at these recipes. So glad I remembered. That pumpkin dessert is calling my name!!
It only happens to me! I get the raucus crows cawing at 4 in the morning, jarring me out of my dreamy slumber….for hours on end until I finally haul myself out of bed for the day. While grumping at the breakfast table, sharing my woes about those stupid crows, my sister who sleeps at the opposite end of the house, says, ‘that’s funny, she only gets the sweet twitter of songbirds on her side of the house’. Life isn’t fair!
I love greens! I’d be a ferny green if I was a crayon….it can be turbulent in raging ocean waters, or soft and mossy making a rock a soft cushion to sit upon….
My personal trainer at the gym is in his early 20’s and I am over 30 years older than he is. One day as we were working out, he asked me if I had been a cheerleader in high school. I thought ” well bless his heart, he’s serious.” I was flattered at his sincere question, and started laughing. High school was an uncomfortable era for me. I had not been a cheerleader, in fact I was excruciatingly shy, did not date at all and hung around with a fringe group similar females. At that time being a cheerleader was the ultimate position of popularity and prestige. It is amusing to see that all that is so meaningless at my stage of life but still I was complimented that my young trainer thought that I was that cool.
I would have to be a Grass Green Crayon. Green is my favorite color.
Thanks
Describe something funny that has happened to you!
I think the most recent funniest thing that’s happened to me was when I was playing with my dogs and my black labrador come running toward me and I thought how adorable that was! He just came over and sat down all by himself; I was overwhelmed by the cuteness of that action so I got to him and told him how beautiful he was (oh, I realize how a little nutsy that may sound) and what did he do back? He got up and burped on my face!!
If I were a crayon, I’d be the color torquiose because I’m rather fond of that color. It’s very soothing and not exactly regular like blue.
If I were a crayon I’d be purple. BUt i want to be a crayon that can change colors…that way I can alternately be RED =)
These are beautiful!!
Something funny happens to me EVERY day!! My son is 4 – and crazy – lol!! Just a few weeks ago we ordered pizza. I handed him the check to pay the “pizza man” when he got here. Instead of HANDING it to him, he ran circles around his car – over and over – chanting, “You don’t need this, DOOOOOO YOU?”…lol. The delivery man just looked at me like, lady, I’m NOT chasing him!! Oops… My neighbors enjoy sitting out on their decks and watching all the action at my house…hehehe
Oh – I would be pink!! I LOVE pink – but I never get to wear it because I have strawberry blonde hair – and that just doesn’t mesh well!!
I think I would like to be the whole box. Each day we are in a different mood that makes us feel different things. I would like to pick a new color each day. Today is buttercup.
I am currently fighting to get over a case of bronchitis. Well in my delirium last night I had a very weird but funny dream. I dreamed that my mom, sister and I all went to a very odd tattoo parlor that we set up like a grocery store. You laid out on a check out aisle where they did your new art. Well between my sister and i it was not too odd, but my mother on the other hand had decided to get a large one across her belly in block gang lettering that said something in reference to her ‘big mamas’
If I were a crayon I would be a blue one. I think blue represents all types of emotions, it can be cheery and uplifting like the sky, blue like a sadness, or soothing like the ocean.
Once a month I work at a different job. At my regular office job I have a headset for the phone and at the other job I just use the regular handset. After I worked at job B, I went back to job A but had to cover an area that didn’t have the headset available. Every time I picked up the phone I answered for job B out of muscle memory. Callers were very confused that day.
My son and I took my dog for a walk at a nearby park. We were walking along one of the primitive trails in the back of the park when the dog dove into some bushes and came out with a SKUNK in his mouth! He was thrashing his head back and forth and of course the skunk sprayed. We were screaming “drop it, drop it!” and finally he did. The poor skunk went running away. The smell was horrible and there was no way I was going to let the dog back in my car. We walked to a nearby picnic site that had a water connection. I told my son to wait there and I would run to CVS to get the peroxide, baking soda and dish soap to make the concoction for removing the smell (can you tell I’ve done this before?) Well, when I was in CVS people kept staring at me. I knew I wasn’t exactly dressed up but I didn’t think I looked that bad. I got back to the park, got the dog cleaned up, let him dry, drove home, showered and changed clothes. It’s then that I realized that while the dog was shaking the skunk back and forth the spray got on me, my clothes and even the rubber soles of my tennis shoes and they were staring because I stank! (I ended up having to replace the shoes I could never get the smell off the rubber).
The other day while i was trying to put some groceries away in the fridge, because our kitchen is way too small and i can barely fit between our kitchen table and the fridge i bumped my forehead on the fridge’s door the first time, second time it was the top of my head against the freezers door, and a third time on the top of my head, in a row! my husband was laughing at me saying “did you just bonk your head again?” im not joking…it did happen, not funny cause i was so mad! our kitchen space sucks lol.
If i were a crayon i would be blue, i LOVE the color blue 😀
I’d be a bright, vibrant green if I were a crayon 🙂
Those earrings are stunning!!
crayon color? i’d be peach. nice and calm. doesn’t really show up on some things, but it’s still there.
My funny story is playing guitar on stage at an outdoor concert. As I went up to the microphone to introduce myself, a spider jumped off the mic stand and right toward my face. So the first thing his audience heard from me was a blood curdling scream!
I would be hunter green!
I wanna be Emerald Green! Or Spring Green. Any green, really, except that nasty avocado-khaki I think they’re calling jungle or something now. Bluch.
A bit funny, a bit embarrasing. I didn’t have any old rags so I used hubbies clean but older undies to clean the bottom greasy part of the bbq and threw them in the garbage. Those rotten racoons got in the garbage the night before garbage pick up so I had no time to put the garbage in the can. Garbage man must of seen the black undies and left them under the garbage can .. lol
Something funny: I once saw a llama get drunk. It was as amazing as it sounds.
A crayon color: Royal blue
If I were a crayon, I would be Kelly Green! Thanks for the chance to win.
I don’t know how to tell this so it’s funny, but today I was cleaning up and somehow misplaced two spices. My husband and I looked all over for them, only to find them hours later in the medicine cabinet. I seem to be losing my mind!
If I were a crayon I’d be an earth tone.. maybe burnt orange or brown. Something even keel.
The color of crayon I’d been would depend on how my day was going. Today I would be a bright yellow as I miss the sun and I’m hating all the rain we are getting this summer!
Well it wasn’t funny at the time but it’s mildly hilarious now. When we moved into our new house my husband and his friend got up in the attic to run the surround sound. I just finished cleaning the entire house and unpacking almost everything when one of the doofus’ foot went through my bedroom ceiling so I had to clean up all that messy insulation for hours. As soon as I had just finished- literally, just opening the door- his friend fell completely through my kitchen ceiling. I had to clean all that up too. Of course by the end of the night I was exhausted… and still had to clean up the other mess from someone’s foot through the garage ceiling. Needless to say, I supervise when those idiots are in the attic now…
I’d be blue!
