Last week Elsie suggested that I answer the weekly questions too! š
1. What’s collecting dust in the closet?
I have a beautiful pair of dressy shoes that I had a hard time finding and paid way too much for – but I needed them for a very special occasion. I wore them that day only and they turned out to be the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever worn. I was actually limping by the end of the day!
That was several years ago and I am sure they will never feel comfortable, so why am I keeping them?
Good question! Maybe I think my feet will shrink? Lol š
2. Three favorite fruits:
Nectarines, Cantaloupe, Plums
My 3 favorite fruits are blueberries, strawberries, and bananas! Yum!
Another pair of beautiful earrings!
Funny question..what is in my closet etc..
I have a room full of stuff collecting dust that I can’t get rid of. And you want to know why I don’t get rid of it…
1. I might need it some day
2. I might need it some day
3. Someone else might need it someday!
But seriously, that’s the answer as it pertains to craft stuff.
Now clothes are a different story.
1. It might fit me again some day. See I only keep the small stuff. If I get smaller..the big stuff goes RIGHT out, lol.
2. I love it and can’t bear to part with it.
3. I might recycle it into something useful.
But to answer your questions seriously. I have the first hat I ever wore in the closet in a hat box. I bought it in 1971. I love the hat and seriously I will wear it again. I am a member of the Hat Society, but NOT the Red Hat Society.
Good question.
xx, CArol
Favorite fruit. See, I always qualify answers.
Fresh fruit…any melon, any order and strawberries.
Cooked fruit..peaches, blueberries, strawberries
Canned fruit..peaches, pineapple, mandarin oranges
What’s collecting dust in my closet?
I have a gorgeous little black dress that’s just a little to tight. I love it, and I just can’t bring myself to get rid of it, just in case I lose some weight.
Three favorite fruits? Let’s see:
1) I LOVE blackberries. I think sometimes people don’t understand how wonderful they are, because they’re often picked too early and not ripe enough in the grocery store- but when you get them ripe enough, especially just off the vine, they’re heavenly.
2) Strawberries. Strawberries are so yummy, and you can use them in so many things! Strawberries and whipped cream are the perfect cool down on a hot day.
3) Apples. They’re great by themselves, as well as in apple pie.
I have a dressy pair of slacks that are too small. But no matter what, I can’t get rid of them.
Favorite fruits: strawberry, blueberries, and melons.

I have a dress from china that I don’t use because I have hips! Alas! I keep it because I’m hoping I’ll lose some weight. Sigh…
My favorite fruits are watermelon, strawberries, and raspberries.
My favorite fruits are raspberries, blueberries and watermelon in that order. All the fresh summer fruits are starting to arrive at reasonable prices.
It is a lovely lavender dress that I purchased to see my niece/Godchild
graduate from high school in. The dress is a designer dress and the most I have ever paid for one article of clothing. I worked at the store and it was on sale, I couldn’t resist buying it. This special dress still hangs in my closet. Many thanks, Cindi
The 3 fruits I enjoy the most are ~
strawberries
clementines
kiwis

Not an entry – just wanted to say that they’re gorgeous and I’m jealous of your skills! Or is it skillz?
Either way, the item in my closet that I can’t get rid of despite gathering dust is this awesome Chinese-style (I think the term is cheongsam, but I’m not certain) dress. My mom got it for me to wear to formal events, and I’m just not formal enough to need it, but it’s too beautiful to get rid of.
I also love Raspberries, Kiwi, and Strawberries (with a sprinkling of sugar! Yum!).
One thing I have in my closet collecting dust is this hideous orange towel like material dress that I got when I was at least in grade 7 or 8 and I used to actually wear it to school (its a swimsuit cover up) I wore it because it was the only thing above my knee (mom considered anything above the knee short) that she let me own at the time. I haven’t worn it in like 4 years but I keep it for a beach cover up now!
My three favourite fruits are strawberries, cherries and raspberries. Though I love any and all fruits its hard to really choose one.
My high school diploma ROFL maybe my college diploma… both are worthless to me, but I hang onto them š
Lemon, limes, and tangerines! I’m citrusy – zesty and tangy! š
I have my bingo bag with bingo chips. I know no one uses bingo chips anymore but I’m hoping they bring back the original bingo games.
3 favorite fruits
banana,mandarin oranges and grapes

Thank would be my Butterscotch raggedy sweater that I take out and wear only occasionally and my hubs says “Not again?” Can’t bear to part with it even though it is getting holey and I have no idea why I hang onto it like a Linus blanket.

Closet dust collector? An afghan I began crocheting many years ago…all hexagons. I have all the yarn…albeit differing brands which is why I sort of stalled on the project..my hexes aren’t the same size. But, I keep telling myself that one of years will be the UFO year where I do NOT create any more UFOs but finish up some instead and this one project is destined to be finished ‘someday’.
Well, I have so many awesome coats, jackets and outerwear but the climate here is warm and humid the year long. So i dont really get to use any of these items and they are gathering dust.
My 3 fav fruits- mango, pineapple and grapes….all tropical delights
There so so many items, but the one in particular that comes to mind is this woollen scarf i bought on my trip to australia. I have some kind of allergy to the wool i guess, because every time i wear the scarf i get rashes. But it is such a beautiful pink and yellow piece that i have been waiting all these years for the allergy to mysteriously vanish so that i can start using it. By the looks of it, ill have to wait my whole life.lol.
I love fruits. Apple, peach and raspberry happen to be my all time favorites
Those earrings are so beautiful!! WOW! Love the colors and the simplicity.
So…stuff in my closet gathering dust….where do I start?!!
I’m sure that I will never wear the mother of the bride dress that I got for my dd’s wedding…but I’m hoping that maybe my sister will wear it someday! The dress was okay, but it can’t be shortened for everyday wear because the bottom is fluted and beaded. NOT my style at all.
Oooh, I LOVE fruits so this is a good question for me. The problem will be limiting myself to just 3.
I’d say strawberries, blueberries and plums. Then, there are nectarines, watermelon, kiwi….see what I mean?! I love them all!
I signed up for your mailing list! Thanks for the chance to win these gorgeous earrings!
